So, yeah, any news to give us? i know its in 3+ month, but for people that will be able to afford the trip (not me obviously---and if its still using the STG format) it could help to set up regionals correctly.

Now I've heard conflicting reports about this whole thing. Are we're getting a set of promos per symbol Patch we win (a set of Chaos Promos if you got the Chaos patch for example)? Or are we just getting one of the same promo for each patch we hand in?

Carrying on with that question, where the heck are we going to be handing them in and will there be compensation for those that can't make it, whether it be location or finances or what have you?

My question is where are the tournaments going to be held at ?

I imagine it'll have something akin to the regionals in terms of where the tournaments are. I doubt they'd make your work for a year to get the patches and not be able to do anything with them! Which tournaments are left now? Water, Air and Void, right?

This was the original plan, and I have heard nothing to say that this has changed:

There is one special PotM Promo.
Players at the special PotM event will receive 1 promo for each different patch they have.

Example:

John brings 5 Chaos patches - John gets 1 promo card, because he only has one type of patch.

Danny brings Life, Earth, Choas, Death, and Order - Danny gets 5 promo cards because he has 5 different patches.

The winner of the entire event wins the remainder of the promos to distribute as they see fit.

I will reach out to Paul and see if there is anything different on the horizion.

Well I've got 5 patches overall, but only 3 different kinds, I'll need to see about trading my duplicates for different ones. I've got a spare ALL and EVIL patch, and I'm looking for different ones, if anyone's interested in trading then p....m....me......hmm. Send me a friend request, I guess.

I know I shouldn't complain until an actual venue is announced for this event, but man, what is it with the events only a precious few can attend?

Oh you know, i'll to deal with somebody that'll bring all the patch; so 13 promo... i think a lot of players will have to work this way. Unless the mix it with regionals/nats in some places..

The way it's being talked about right now, it's one huge event. Fortunately they tend to do those in easy-to-access areas, and I've always wanted more events organized by the company.

For all we know, it could be a side event at Worlds 09.

If i'm right, at first, it was 3. One in the US, one in the UK and one somewhere that is NOT Canada

And again the question needs to be raised:

For those that can't attend for whatever reason (whether it be legal, financial, lack of passport etc etc) there are people with patches that can't attend, will they be compensated somehow? Or can we add them to our boy scout sashes or whatever?

my quistion is: if i have an all patch, do i have to play an all deck?
