Well I spent a fun filled day or three downloading all the two and three star adventures and I know of some other people did the same, the trouble is that each of them is about 5 meg in size and there are about 45 of them so hosting is a major issue for me. If anyone knows of a cost efficient (ie free) way to host 250 worth of data I'll put them up otherwise you could try the "way back machine"
Chris
I did something along this lines, too, including my own scenarios (for the sake of reek vanity) and a fewrenown homebrew campaigns like the remarkable War of the Roses and the Battles of the Middle Earth by Yangtze.
On a side note, however, there's a thing that always bothered me: that is the destiny (doom?) of so much goodness lost by the standard rating system who inevitably slip behind the eyes of the player: after all, the most reviews were written in the early days of the game, when it was an "hot affair", with the first scenarios getting more attention, and a vast majority of the French and German language scenarios were forgotten the international community too...
I really liked what Worldofbattlelore.de did, too, with the competition organized some times ago: a roundup of submitted scenarios tested, evaluated, prized nd published... Could be funny to see from the community, in the future, when a new scenario-editor will be out, something along the line of a gazetteer with some light periodically shed on a bunch of deserving scenarios, perhaps Vassal-aided...
- One last thing: has anyone tried to translate the competions entries from Worldofbattlelore? Unfortunately my deutsch reading skills are rudimentary at most, and online-translating tools aren't really helping... the scenario centered around the Axe Bearer seems so siiiiiiick!

Hi Mate,
Can you make Screen / hard copies from he scenarios that you could save?
A screen shoot ( maybe two or three for a scenario is small ), you could put them in Photobucket or whatever so that the others lady couls profit from your hard work. A darn shame that DOw threw all the hard work of the fam community away,,, grrr.. Thank you for saving some of them.
Will you do that with the "screen shot/hard copy" for us please
thank you Cheers
Mike
The old scenarios are all at www.battleloremaster.com
And a big' Thank You' for hosting them, Universalhead.
May you roll much 'Lore' ....
I must be blind. I see a handful of fan made scenarios on BattleLoreMaster.com, but I don't see this 250mb archive that was mentioned. Were they removed?
Well I've managed to make a pdf of the other pdfs and got the size down to 10.5mb, I'm open to suggestions on where to host a much smaller file.
Chris
p.s. to save me 5 minutes of my life does anyone happen to know the maximum file size board game geek allows?
hope this helps..
File Size : BGG has problems accepting files over 5-7 Mb (depends on your connection). This appears to be a web timeout on the browser. This is a limitation of the web upload, not a file size limitation of BGG. You will need to compress images (espcially within .pdfs), use a zip archive, or a segmented zip archive. If you have a large file, please try to upload it once to see if it gets through; if it does not, then you should consider ways to compress the file size.
I also often dream of those scenarios! I only recently got my copy of Battlelore and now we have tried all of the official scenarios. It would be really great if someone managed to get the fun-made stuff back online somehow..
I can host them for you on my server and provide a direct link to the files for at least a month so people who wanted could go and grab them within a specific timeframe. Use the email in my profile to get in touch.

I think a lot of us would be very interested. The DOW site went down literally the day after I bought the game so I never had a chance to look at what was online. I would love to have that opportunity!
Well I have them all down to 2mb (god alone knows how they'll print out but look fine on screen) I've submitted to BGG (cause I like the gold) and will be n touch with Universalhead to get it up on Battlelore Master too. I'll post links once they are available.
Chris
A while ago I downloaded not a few of the scenarios but every single one of them. Even the private ones due to a silly bug in DoW's website. After I did it they banned my IP, how dare they
Anyways, I have 1141 scenarios in total, have them in PDF format and in DoW's html print format.
This evening I spent a few hours writing a few programs which converted, sorted and autogenerated some stuff so the html version of the scenarios can be hosted on my homeserver...
The URL is battlelore.aeneagames.com/scenarios/
Please note! Slow server and a HUGE page!
Have fun!
Sitesnagger and your site will becocme best of friends now (and my ISPS worst enemy ),
Thanks for that!
Chris

It's unbelievable! I can't even begin to thank you enough!
I wish though FFG put an editor online someday soon..
Thank You very much for that. Is this a limited time posting or will it be hosted there for a bit?

I hope it will be hosted there for quite some time, but I'm not sure if FFG or anyone else might have a problem with it so it could be removed if anyone asks me too...
Awesome. You should have been included in the Hero's pack! Riding a horse with a laptop!
Cheers
