I know this topic has probably come and gone a hundred times by now, but searching did me no good soooo....

I'm curious what the great minds here think. I took a hiatus from playing for quite some time, since before Scum was even released, and at this point I own none of it.

Should I invest in more than one Most Wanted pack? I was thinking I would for the ships and cards, but what do YOU think?

I'm no great mind, but I think two is best if you plan on doing anything more than dabbling in Scum.

Ive only bought one pack but I can see the point if i waned more z's or had two or more slave 1's and hawks

I got 3 so I could Z swarm but 2 is probably enough for most people.

Depends on if you wish to run more than three of the same Z-95 or Y-wing (or two generics with a particular unique). If you do, then you will have to buy another Most Wanted pack for no other reason than to get the carboard bases. If not, then you'll probably get everything you need out of just the one.

I'd say two is the typical ideal number, to let you have four generic Zs or Y-Wings, or what I want and a pair of Mando Merc cards.

I got two since I have 2 generic Y-Wings which means I can fly them all at once for Scum.

Only downside: now I have 9 Zs and even with my love for them that's a bit too much.

I got 4, but I think for most people 2 will be the magic number for good amount of options without being overkill.

Now you can use any dial with a ship it's less necessary to get two, if you plan on running a swarm list you'll need the two for pilot cards but otherwise you can probably just get one.

I picked up one, am pretty likely to get another as well. 2 x Z95 & 1 x Y-Wing isn't a bad deal for the same price as two small base ships in the first place. The extra copies of the BTL-A4 title, Autoblaster Turret and some of the non-unique cards are just the icing on the Scum & Villany cake.

I got 2 Most Wanted since I have 2 Firesprays and 2 regular Y-Wings. That will be enough for me.

I looked and looked and studied it and tried to maximize my Scum spending. I already had 2 Rebel Z-95's and one Y-wing. I didn't think I needed more than 1 Most Wanted. They made the announcement that you can use your Rebel dials in tournaments. I thought it was a done deal for me.

Well...you can use Rebel dials, but you don't get the cards. I've got a list with 3 Scum Z-95's. Unless I go with 2 Binayre and 1 Black Sun (the 2nd tier generic) I need to get a 2nd box. It's just 1 more point, but I can't spare it in the list I'm wanting to use. So, I'm thinking of getting another one.

Maybe I can find someone local that hasn't gotten a Most Wanted yet and wants to get the dials and cards for their Rebel ships? All I really want are the Z's (though an extra Y would be good).

The marginal value of a second Most Wanted is lower than the first, but definitely not zero. The deciding factor for me was the Mandalorian Mercenary, because I want to be able to run two, but going from two BTL-A4 titles to four didn't hurt either.

Also, I really like the paint jobs on both of the ships.

Z-95s are the most cost-effective ship in scum and lend themselves quite well to a mini-swarm

You can use your rebel/imperial dials for the scum ships, yes, but like others have said you lack the pilot card and ship token. This makes it difficult (well, impossible) to run more than 2 of the same generic Z or more than one generic Y or Firespray. Some Firespray and HWK combos are also impossible without two Most Wanted. So the dial thing works to a degree but is not a substitute for getting another Most Wanted.

Can you make good lists without a second? Yes.

Does having two open up your options? Definitely.

I've seen great Scum lists with IG-88 and Boba Fett. I've also seen great Brobot lists w/ 2 IG-88. You don't need 2 Most Wanted and wouldn't even need one if you went with the 2nd option.

I like it, but I'm just saying it's not essential.

Maybe not essential, but with all the goodies and extra ship cards, for Hwks and Firesprays, Z95s, and Y-wings, If you already have the previous versions of them, then you can start playing right away. One is ok, but you really don't have enough cards and dials, 2 is the best option IMO.

Buying one box is almost like getting 6 ships+ 3 Actuals ships, for the price of one large ship.

I don't see much need in getting most wanted for multiple ancillary ships (hwks, sprays) because the difference between hwks with or without moldy crow is even greater than interceptors with or without PTL, and sprays are expensive especially in scum (no bounty hunter )

Bobba and Kath both got a massive bump and the generic has an ept and higher ps, scum Firesprays are great.

The mm is very questionable value relative to the bounty hunter. The 2 PS is incredibly situational when PS 3-4 hlgenerics remain Incredibly rare (talas with fat han and that's all) and PS 3 is enough to not trigger predator.

The Additional upgrade slots are literally worthless unless you spend more points

MMs get pricey quickly and while one is sweet you'll see very few builds that will support two more efficiently than two named pilots

You can skip the 2nd most wanted pretty safely

I bought two, but it was mostly for the cards for everything else.

Like all x-wing expansions you need at least 2 IMO.

Each Most Wanted box comes with an extra ship token compared to what you usually get in any other expansion, for the Y-Wing and for the Z-95 (the other supported ships have 2 tokens each, like the usual). For example, The Scum Y-Wing tokens are:

Kavil (ps7) / Hired Gun (ps4)

Drea (ps5) / Syndicate Thug (ps2)

and an extra one, allowing you to mass generics:

Hired Gun (ps4) / Syndicate Thug (ps2).

You get 2 dials, allowing you to run 2 syndicate thugs, or 2 Hired Guns if you wanted, from a single Most Wanted combined with a Rebel Y-Wing model.

As for the Z-95s, they come with 2 dials as well and 3 tokens again.

If you have a rebel Z-95, you can get up to 3 Z-95 at once, but not all combinations are possible (2 generics and a named, for example, but no 3 generics).
