Well, I just read the rules, and it all looks good to me. I like the idea that heroes can graduate into the Lore Council. I presume that means you can now put another hero in the field. But looking at the scenarios I had a question about Battle Savvy. When Battle Savvy rules are in effect, does that mean all the units are Battle Savvy? That seems a little odd to me, I guess.

From what I can gather, that would be correct..all units would have it. And seems to be what the majority things on BGG as well.

Yes, when Battle Savvy is in effect, every unit that doesn't retreat/die gets to battle back. If you look at the dates on the scenarios, they're roughly 40-50 years after some of the original scenarios, so essentially everyone (even your lightly-armed Green troops) have seen a significant amount of combat, and are seasoned veterans.
