Combat Questions and Crown of Commanding

By daedel2007, in Talisman

Hello all,

I have just finished yy first reading at rules, and I have a couple of questions about combat. Suppose you draw 2 cards and both are enemies that attack you with Strength. As per the rules, if there is more than one enemy attacking with strength, they attack as if they were a single creature. My first question is, if i decide to evade, both creatures will be evaded? If I win the roll, will I beat both creatures or just the first one in order of encounter, leaving the second one to deal with?

My last one: can i use destiny points on my CoC roll?

Thanks all for helping this newbie!

Hi there ~

For rules questions, better is asking in a forum destinated for it: www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_foros_temas.asp happy.gif

As for Your questions, if two or more Enemies (all are using S or C) are attacking You, treat them as one Enemy . If You are gonna to evade them, You will evade all of them, not just one. If You will win, You will kill all attacking enemies, and You may take all of them as trophy. If You will lose combat, You will lose only 1 life. However, all their special abilities are still working and are affecting the battle, if possible.

As for Your last questions, they are Fate points, not destiny points. And yes, You can use them when ever You want, even at CoC space, if You wish. There is some few cards that prevent You from using them, however, that's minor problem, small exception.

Thank you for the quck reply! Oops i fumbled, i thought I was posting it at the right spot...and sorry for the translation, I have spanish version and thought it was destiny instead of fate...

Thanks again!

Remember, that You don't need to evade all of enemies, You can choose with one You want to evade, and against which one You want to fight.

Hi nemomon,

i was thinking already, when i saw your post, i remember you can choose wich one you want to evade because they are not a combined enemie yet before battle takes place..

So that means that you can fight each enemie as a single enemie right?

evade the first one, fight the second one and evade the third one..

I am not a fan of evading unless i have no choice, but i want to beat as many creatures as possible hehe demonio.gif

The elf is a character who has that ability that activates in woods spaces..

Hi, Velhart,

that Rules You provided are good but advanced. For inexperienced player, better could be having possibility to evade all Enemies or certain Enemies player wish, than just only one Enemy. Also, look that situation looks like: You are fighting against 2 Gnolls. You are casting Invisiblility Spell. First Gnoll cannot see You, the other one - can gui%C3%B1o.gif

Personally I'm not a big fan of evading too, also there is very small possibilities to evade anything, however Elf can evade even Ice Queen with Dragon King attacking together while being in Woods space lengua.gif
