Legacy is a pretty daunting format. With everything legal, it's hard to decide what to run, and what to counter. Furthermore, people simply do not enjoy playing it.
So I figured I'd do legacy differently. From now on, any time I create a Legacy event, it's going to be themed. For this theme, I used a Samurai Showdown only format, and I think it looks pretty sweet.

Samurai Showdown is one of my favorite licenses UFS has, and it has never had its standalone set. Using only Samurai Showdown cards, I feel you have a limited enough card pool so that not too terribly much is broken.
As you can tell, my deck capitalizes on all of Sogetsu's strengths, both his draw and discard (and as there is truly no anti-discard in the format, I can do so without fear). Using his ability with Exist Within allows me to choice snipe cards. Gama Jigoku is great because of its versatility. If their board is strong, I'll Stun them. If I need to draw or get momentum I'll let them pick their poison. Moon Glow and Chikemuri have "if these attacks deal damage" effects, so they're great block baiters.
I highly suggest people participate in such legacy formats. They're fun and help stimulate creativity while still utilizing the older cards. Tell me what you think of the deck and format idea!
