I was just kind of wondering if any consideration might have been given to possibly allowing the older Shadowar character promos to be used in block 4. I know that they have been around for a while, but it seems kind of odd that they would be dropped when their set is still in rotation. To my knowledge, none of them destabilized the game, (closest being Zi Mei who is extremely powerful aggro or Zhao Daiyu due to NPE for her control hacks). It just seems weird that the only character promos are non-set characters and Astrid. Anyways I'm sure that this is just wishful thinking on my part.

On a side notes, does anyone know what the promo SW1 6/7 is? I was going through my collection of promos and could not locate or piece together what this might be. I know its is not a broken, injury card. Thanks for any ideas.

There's still one more SW1P card that hasn't been released yet, and chances are it's with the latest batch of promos that were printed.

As for the characters and rotation, I'm thinking about asking my players if they just want to bring back all non-banned characters (with some exceptions, such as some of the 8hs characters who would probably just steamroll everything else or characters that would flat-out cause an NPE). That way, people would be able to play their favorite SNK and SF characters again, and being able to play your fav character is a sizable draw to UFS in general.

That's cool. I'm the scout for my area, Amarillo Texas. I was planning on running block 3 until SCIV comes out in October so that there is some breathing room for my group. Thanks for the tip on the unreleased promo. For some reason I thought it might be the Shadowar attack shown in the old rulebook, but James clarified that that attack was never released when I spoke to him at the POTM.

That attack's art was reused for Clash of the Ages, which is a very fun card btw. The other SW characters I've heard of or seen were Kisheri and White Crane, though I'm not sure of Kisheri's set number or if White Crane got a card yet. Though I guess it's possible it could be Ragnar, he doesn't have a promo character yet...

He doesnt yet have a promo, also his starter version is 2dot Ragnar, which heavily insinuates that there was already a promo around, as yet unreleased.

I'm assuming the SW promos were released as early as they were to get people hyped for the set.

I would NOT want to see promo Zi Mei in the game. Ugh >_>
