UFS Worlds Shoutouts
The only UFS event I played in was Wandering Master, and I didn't win it, so I guess I don't really need to write a report on it. However, I did have a BLAST that I didn't expect. I always heard that GenCon was a drag and wasn't much fun, but the UFS guys made that stereotype disappear.
I don't have anything but shoutouts!
United States
Dani Carpenter - As always, it's a pleasure travelling with you and your mother. I will have to try and make it out to Misty Mountain Games often for more games, now that I find the game fun again.
Ben Rislove - Good seeing you from Misty Mountain Games! Glad to see someone running Wraith of Heaven properly. We'll have to get together again and play some more games.
Andrew Olexa - Always good to see you and the gang. I'll try to get a whole radio promo going exclusively for "Al C. Rrrrrrrocker" for the next time we meet up.
Omar Chavez - My sweet precious Omar. Naruto was pretty fun, eh? Harrison chocolates will also come along for next time. Didn't expect to see you Day 0 next to the lines with me, but I am glad I did.
Jihan Chirchlow - I hope that's how you spell your name, but it was good to finally meeting you.
Matt Kohls - Matt Kohls running Matt Kohls, then Matt Kohls telling us the story of Minotaur. He killed Astaroth's parents! Good seeing you.
Paul Bittner - Good job on winning what we all knew you could. Always good to talk UFS with you too. Remember: Pick me to draw your art. You'll look awesome.
Al Crocker - We didn't torment Jeremy Ray as much as we should have.
Scott Gaines - Scott Scott Gaines Gaines Gaines. Where was the Legacy Worlds victory?
Jeremy Ray - Circle of Death does not claim you as a victim at GenCon. Good job for winning Wandering Master, and thanks for making Jin hard to get.
Brett Hillman - Dude, finally got to actually hang out with you and talk. You're absolutely awesome and fantastic.
Shinji Mimura - You're still bad at this whole 'internet' thing, but you're not as bad in person as I thought you would be.
Chris Kovaz - Go **** yourself.
Brian Harris - Good seeing you again dude. We're 1 - 1 against each other, and hopefully we can settle the score next time.
Alexander James - WH: Invasion grew on me. That game is awesome and fun, and I am probably going to buy it. It's always a pleasure seeing you.
Jon Herr - Hitting me at the RAM was uncalled for, but hilarious.
Ben Shoemaker - Once again, it's all good. Nothing says party like Ben Shoemaker.
Ivy Willis - You looked like Poison Ivy, playing Ivy, being named Ivy. Ivy Cubed?
Fred Ernheart - Good meeting you. You're a funny guy, and I didn't get you to sign King Games. I am upset.
James Hata - Always a pleasure when the painting gets brought up, even more when I play Battle Spirits.
Tanner Lang - You're the next Jeremy Ray at Circle of Death, but good seeing you.
Canada
Keith Drake - Dude, I met you a little bit at Nationals and thought you were cool then, but GenCon cemented your place as one of the best people I have met in the UFS community. You pretty much have a friend in the Unite States if you ever need one.
Danny Fung - Remember folks, that's 'Danny Ole' spelled F-U-N-G. Seriously though, you are hilarious awesome and can't wait to see you again.
Mike Lowe - You're so lucky. You're an alcoholic in the making, so be careful. It's always good when Mike Lowe is destroyed though, so don't be too careful.
The United Kingdom
Joe Hill - GLACIER. VITAMINS. ALUMINIUM. You are the only person I have ever seriously talked to from The UK. You are setting the bar VERY high for the next person I meet from overseas on the personality scale. Very awesome meeting you.
EVERYONE ELSE I FORGOT
I'm sorry.
