I love this game. I havent won a single game yet but have never been beat and proud of it lol. Last night I played my 1st game with Dunwich and was doing pretty well when my nemisi mythos card "The Stars are Right" came up AGAIN! Dang it all. I had 11 on Galaakis track , ! investagtor coming out this turn with a parchment to seal and remove a token from the doom track , 4 seals down already , next to no monsters and BAM AO wakes up and comenses to geat my guys like cracker-jacks. I have to note that me equipment stunk having lost some earlier in game but I took 5 counters off him so at least he knew I was there lol.

Anyway Im going to get Kingsport this week (even though Ive hear its not very good I like to get things in order or release) and hope I get that 1st win.

Im thinking of padding my walls and getting a telescope so maybe I can see when that blasted mythos card is coming next time. Have fun all.

Pay no attention the the KH naysayers. While it isn't as good as the other big box expansions, it is still lots of fun, and adds to the game.

I've played the game about 8 times just with the main board and I've gotten my rear end pummeled. I'm playing with the one of the weakest GOO, Yig and came close at the end twice but the attacks were just to much by the fifth round. With your reply in mind, I do agree, This game is just awesome. A couple of guys were complaining about it's just to difficult. Well... If it was easy who would play it. Half the time it just worth to see how bad your game actually goes....

Example: I'm the gangster, blew my roll to defeat a Monster, lost half of my stuff went to the hospital, got out, guess who's waiting for me? The same monster.... Rinse, lather, repeat... I was just pimped by him for 4 turns because he wasn't movin.... But it was just awesome... I couldn't sneak past, rolling horribly. Just like a gangster to do! I lost that game BTW....

I do have all the small boxes and just picked up Dunwich... I'm already liking the injuries and Madness cards for the added flava for your character.... Top notch stuff! Can't wait to play that...

Just showed by buddy the Dunwich set... Let him looked at the characters... He asked "why are they so powerful?" I then showed him the Goos... Then showed him the Injury/Madness cards... then explained about the supplemental board.... Then showed how Dunwich horror works... Then talked about gate bursts... He relied, "oh.. I guess you need the sweet characters cuz you ain't got a chance on winning! So when do we play? "

Though the Dunwich characters aren't really all that powerful...
