But it was so much fun! Why would we want to talk about anything else? Oh wait, people have been... there are tons of threads that aren't specifically about worlds... just gencon stuff slips in cause it was so awesome.

Honestly this is the most lively and fun the boards have been in a long time and it should stay that way

No but I'd rather be able to participate in the discussions than watch as everyone goes "MAN YOU HAD TO BE THERE IT WAS AWESOME!" Obviously, I wasn't there, ergo it wasn't awesome for me and anyone who couldn't afford to go. I know it's fun and all but could you please keep to the topics at hand? There's already too much as is, to be honest, but at least if you kept to those rather than start yet another one maybe we could collectively move on and start real discussions. Because obviously there's only bitching afoot and not rejoicing that the game is going to be fun in Standard and Legacy is slightly more than an afterthought.
Plus, the word "epic" is tossed around way too goddamned lightly.

As per mine : One in deckbuilding, one in GD (everyone is doing this becuase it is the main thread read and 'in general' a lot of peeps were there), and one in the reports section.

As of typing this post I count 4 threads not about worlds. If you hadn't posted this thread, there might be 5 threads not about worlds.
Add +1 to that if you count the SOTG post.
I know how much it sucks seeing all the cool threads and not having made it (my ride fell through at the very last minute last year) but bitchmoaning about it won't make things better. If you dont' want to read the gencon threads don't. There's nothing stopping you from hitting page two or three, reading non worlds posts and posting intelligent responses to them. One hopes.
