The deck is pretty straight forward, I use Shadowar and Hungry for battle for free damage pump, Twilight Witch and Wonderworld Warriors for easy burn, Seeking Treasure is actually very good in the deck and features a solid block. The deck has a LOT of 4 checks, which feeds into hungry for battle. A Few cards are there more for the block then the ability(as noted). If there was another solid 3 check low attack on evil I would run it instead of 1 copy of hades axe, but I hate the current low evil attack selection besides the excellent leg slash. I often used the Enhance on hungry for battle to dig through my deck on defense for Assets to block with. Also Chasing after the Power was my favorite first turn card, often if I played out a Shadowar/Chasing after/Hungry for battle I could get a turn 2 win/near win. I also won about 6 games with her block burn suprisingly, some decks just had no way to play around it once they were low life.
I ended up winning the Wandering Master Event at Gencon with it, I don't know what my exact record was because of the sheer number of games played, especially against teamates, but I ended up with 26 tokens which was enough to win the whole thing. I only lost two games outside of my playgroup, one to Dani Carpenter whose Astrid deck wrecked me(I stole a game from her for a 1-2 loss), and one to Nick(tripsex) with James Hata I think, I drew no attacks either game and just basically sat there until I died. Within the playgroup I lost to a few of our decks, but I was never dominated by any of them.
I loved wandering master as a event, and I had a ton of fun doing it, and this deck worked out better then I thought it would even.
Two thumbs up!
