4x4 scum toolbox

A quirky little list I've been running recently...

it's fairly toolboxy and has a lot of firepower, if perhaps short on hp. There's a skill to flying it well, but so far it's doing well - took down Corran and Chewie in 3 rounds of shooting last night.

How do you think it would fare competitively? What would it be weak against?

Problem you have here is Kabul is the only survivable piece on the board, as soon as you're in range one with the sycks the. Are definitely toast, not a fan of sressu as it opens you to having to fly separately and easily picked off. I'd more inclined to carry ion as you can at least limit the enemy, probably best on the y wing, I generally favour manglers over hlc on something squishy but it's personal preference on how I fly, I've bought 3 sycks and now never see myself flying them in current upgrade list

Things that would kill you, generic tie swarm, soontir, rexlor, fat anything, dual Ig88, 4 hogs, boba/kath list, purely because you can get easily one rounded on a ship.

Getting my names wrong stupid phone , kavil and ndru

It's done well against fat chewie - ridiculously well really, so I think the fat lists are actually a good match up for it. arc dodgers may be a problem for it, but with Kavil and the N'Dru's hot shot blaster there's some scope to deal with them. swarms is an interesting one I'd like to try it against. One thing that can often be tricky about the list is target priority. If I get the initial approach right I've got the scyks at range 3 and the other two at range 2, so who do you go for? Most people seem to see Kavil as the priority target in these circumstances. The next turn he'll will probably be past your arc.

You should give your scyks a go, though, the more I fly them the more I seem to be able to keep them outside range 1. It's taken me a few games to get to that point, and i might come stuck against a better player, but it's not inevitable that they'll get stuck at range 1 if you fly it well.

I would run the r4 agromech with Kavil to have a better shot of hitting, you could drop predator and put VI on him instead. The target lock will give you more rerolls than predator

I have had that thought, but I use those the sharp turns with him so often, and if I did a red manoeuvre he'd not be able to shoot his blaster. It also foxes people out as they're not expecting the big turns. It does mean he can whiff his attacks from time to time, but with 4 dice and predator it's never terrible
