It's pretty much what we've been saying all along.

Tower of remembrance is not bad here either, although I had not originally considered it. I would expect a good kazuya player to be rather conservative with his foundations, and not spamming them. If your opponent is playing as many foundations as they can, tower can punish them for that. And if they are not playing a lot of foundations, that will slow their game down considerably.

I don't mean to say that Tower / Tablet make Kazuya win instantly, but they are fine additions to his deck.

You didn't, but OP did.

It's a fine strategy sure, however if you play that here in B4 Standard you'll find that it'll backfire. Everyone has ways to toss an attack first thing in the round. It gets even worse when it's Target X's Nightmare deck, where he is likely to toss the Knight Breaker combo Turn 1.

What is the Knight Breaker combo? Noone around me plays Nightmare, and I don't generally spend time in deckbuilding forums. Just looking at Knight Breaker, it looks somewhere between difficult and impossible to play turn 1, especially if you want to use the combo ability, so there must be something else going on.

In miniblock I don't see how this can be degenerate. Christ, it's a block 4 Soul Arena (and we know how much THAT got played...cough...). Yes it burns when it comes out, but without means of bringing it back there's not much there. And even if it did, you'd have to find a way to drop it to your staging area directly, otherwise it's 2 damage a turn to both players (hardly game breaking).

And for the comment about not being able to play an attack without foundations I can't even being to tell what's wrong there. Most decks run 3 difficulty attacks which can easily be pulled off if they need to (not like you would since it burns for 1 whole damage a turn). And I've seen decks that kill without a single foundation out.

As for Ketchup Ninja's comments about the people here not knowing the game I disagree. Most of the people talking in this thread have a very good grasp of the game. Maybe it's you who's having a problem. Tell us this 'god' combo you found. I'm pretty sure there's some ruling preventing it and that's the reason why we aren't seeing it.

Tablet appears to be far superior to Soul Arena, for a couple reasons. First off, Tablet is 2 difficulty, 5 control, whereas Arena was 4 difficulty, 2 control. Second, beyond the initial life loss, which hits both players, Tablet only affects your opponent, where Arena punished both players for not playing attacks.

That really wasn't the point I was trying to make. The purpose of the card is roughly the same, punish people for not attacking, but nobody played Soul Arena. I still fail to see how or why this card is considered 'busted' by the OP.

Obviously a joke topic so...

YOU CAN'T BAN THE SHREDDED WHEAT CARD!!! Actually, this and All-bran are my favorite cereals...

(how would I get my daily dose of fibre)

Oh, ok. I was just pointing out how Tablet is more playable than Arena, since a 5 check is much better than a 2 check, all other things being equal.

As for how Tablet is 'busted', well, the OP will have to chime in on that one. I think I've showed how it might be usable, but I don't think it's broken by any stretch.

The only broke thing I can think off is if you fail to kill your opponent and get them down to 2 health you can play that card and use it as an auto kill.

I love Mini-Wheats too, but not as much as this guy.

You just won the internets.

As for "Khiler Khombo!" Here is the legacy version:

::Dhalsim::

Billiard Player

Wash/Rinse Repeat.

For those of you who witnesed my shenangins with the AYB deck... will understand that this deck can churn out about 10 damage per turn.

-Risk an Unnatural Grace turn 1.

-Play Body Splash, Midnight Launcher and Knight Breaker

-Check like a mofo.

That's it. X/Mask de Phail pulls it off turn one a lot of times.

How would you get the wheats out of your staging area and into the discard? Billiard only works on foundations at first so it can't do the job. It works as long as the wheats hits the discard pile, but I can't see how you could do it with just the cards listed.

Add anything that says Destroy 1 Asset as a cost.

you put it in the discard since its unique, just force a second one into you staging area with either of Antigoth's cards and you get to blow one up

@ antigoth: i think you forgot to run alot of void character ready and Fortune Teller in order to use it just a few more times

Hmm. I guess you could do that turn 1, if you got really lucky with both your draw and your checks, but unless I'm missing something, you can't use Knight Breaker's Combo E, so you're looking at 17 damage (not enough to take out anyone but Leona) on 2 and 3 speed attacks (one of which should be blocked).

Okay, I can see that. Only problem is that this takes getting all 4 billard players out. Not exactly viable.

I absolutely love how everyone is trying to break an unbreakable card now that the troll said something.

1) Look at how many viable blocks there are in newStandard.

2) Still easy checks.

3) I'm wrong on Body Splash, but any Mid Attack will do. That's how it combos.

In regards to that Unnatural Grace Knight Breaker combo...

I'm just going to say this now:

Cervantes

think about it

that is the entire joke

Yep... off Evil.

But it's even funnier when Nightmare does it.

Hey... Ask folks at worlds... I was planning on building the Dhalsim Billiard Player version ever since I first laid eyes on Tablet.

Hey... people wanted how the legacy deck worked. Not a complete decklist. I mean really... I listed 9 cards out of the 60 card deck. You GOTTA figure there's some other crap in there filling up the remaining 51 cards.

Have you ever seen All Your Base Loop?

Apparently that wasn't viable either, couldn't deal with Goo's Mill, couldn't deal with Bishimill... we all know how that turned out.

Trust me... getting 4 copies of Billiard Player out is the least of the decks problems.

Ukyo's apple anyone?

This has nothing on Ukyo's Apple.
