I will be getting a full report typed up sometime soon, but for now I just wanted to mention the good times I had with everybody and give some quick shoutouts. The full report will be much more detailed, so look for that soon.
FFG:
Steve and James – keep up the great work and thanks for running the events as always. I think I might need to go after a card in Cthulhu now that my UFS one has rotated.
Ohio:
UFS House – we did it! Congrats Paul, at last we have achieved our goal. Now onto that next goal. . .you know it.
Michigan: sorry that we didn’t let you have any assets this year, but you know how it goes.
Andrew – it’s a sad day now that we’ve rotated. Looks like we need to get our stuff together for next year and kick it up a notch. Congrats on making top 4.
Jeremy – next year it’s all up to you man, all you. Let’s get our new game rolling too.
Tanner – let me know when you figure out how to beat Astrid.
Al – we need more cup stories. Unless I missed something, I didn’t hear about any this time.
UK: Thanks for making the effort to come across the pond. We would love to have you guys again, and hopefully some of us can make it over to your side sometime.
Joe – nice work on organizing the massive dinner. We really didn’t think that we would be able to get into anywhere with all of us, but by god you got everyone there and somehow it happened. Also you licked jeremy’s face, so uh yeah that’s gotta count for something.
Kyle – I finally broke my losing streak against the Europeans against you. Keep the nationality count up, we expect an updated report next year hehe.
Matt Hewitt – it sucks that we didn’t get to talk nearly as much as last time. The weekend just went by way too fast. Thanks for the trades and the good times.
Ross – thanks again for the Patriot Games.
NY:
Magnus – for telling me that I was so nice that if I had a handgun I wouldn’t even shoot anyone with it or something. . .haha what. . .yeah you had to be there. Great times at dinner and the Ram hanging with you man. You need to get back to Ohio for some beer pong challenges. Let me know when and we will do it.
Noel – for laughing so **** much about the tragic loss of Minotaur’s family. Also for flipping those DBlades so that we could get our second asset, haha. Tough break man, but you’ll be back up there sometime soon. Also thanks for covering more than your share of the bar tab with Garret and I.
Osei – for the great match in the team finals. Those last two games were mean man, you gave that Zi Mei deck its only loss of the weekend. At least you got your revenge from Ruthless Villainy.
Omar – for being the last werewolf left, giving us some of his card, and for having more attacks in his mill deck than Paul’s champion deck. Of course he was chavez-ing as usual.
Andew, holydragoncloud, Matt, Macek, Fred, Jihan – great to see you guys as always.
Tapout:
We didn’t get to hang out very much this time, you guys need to come with us to the Ram next year. I hope I didn’t scare Chubbs too badly when I yelled at him haha. I was just playing man, figured I’d get you back for all the ridiculous **** you’ve ever done to us. Also, I hate to admit it, but looking at my spreadsheet it appears that they did cut to top 16 at team worlds in 2008, as ridiculous as that sounds it is indeed true. Looks like Osei owes some $$ to Huges, sorry Osei, I really thought it was top 8.
Canada:
Mikey Mouse, Keith, and Danny (foxhound) – keep up the good work, as always you seem to get at least one of you into top cuts. I look forward to my next trip to Canada, you guys need to take us to red triangle/green triangle, we’ve never even been to one yet!
Garret – for winning the most epic dice roll of all time on your way to 3rd place overall, generally kicking ass all weekend, pulling off the collecting data of DOOM, and being the nicest man in Canada. I hope I bought you a beer at some point, but I can’t remember. If not, I still owe you. Thanks for the dice bag. We still need to audit the $500-in-one-day-scheme too haha.
South: I enjoyed sharing the room with you guys/girl and when is DragonCon?
Ben – **** you for sitting next to that guy at werewolf, acting like the seer! Though, when we were both werewolves we did clean sweep all of the villagers. Good work at the Ram with the quarters. Next time we need to play pong or landmine. I think that the cupcake to the face should be tradition for all future world champions.
Ivey – sorry I couldn’t give you a better deck, but that was all I had left. Hopefully you and Ben will rock some badass decks next year.
Little guy – thanks for not puking on me and sorry for giving you the investigation stare, but I had to make sure you weren’t gonna do it.
Table guy – hopefully we weren’t too annoying when we came back to the hotel and you were already under the table.
ScottGaines – just being ridiculous (YWNE-ing the waitress, goddammit man) and not winning legacy.

Texas – it was good to finally meet some of you people. It’s always good to see new faces at GenCon, hopefully all of you will return next year and we’ll get more chances to chat.

Everyone else that was at the dinner/Ram – Alex, Yanni, Eithinis, Lin, Shinji, Steven, Zessei, goo’s gf, and anyone else that I missed – Saturday night was awesome, I say we do it again next year, and next time everyone should come join us for the werewolf game.
