After looking through the books a number of times and reading of him - exactly how much do we know of this Inquisitor? I'm looking for all information on him I can that is currently canon (as per in the Dark Heresy books) as I might incorporate him into a piece of lore/character background I am working on.

I've already heavily imput him into the campaign, if that is what you're plan is to have him included in your fluff. As well, his disappearence occured 70 years ago (715.M41, current time-frame is 815.M41), so it'd be a major time confliction if your character met him (with your character being born in 795.M41, unless somehow you spent a helluva long time in the Warp which doesn't make much sense for your character in my opinion, or got sent back in time that long ago) and (without trying to give too much away) would heavily mess up my previously-written campaign lore as well.

If I have screwed up your name with a player of mine, my apologies first and foremost , for the stuff above. To answer the question then. The only written stuff I know of is one snippet on a Designer Diary on this site (which puts him as actually written to be meant mysterious and 'Of Inquisitors and Aliens' is the designer diary name), and the Inquisitor's Handbook page 188. That's the best help I can do.

Don't forget that Herrod had a cybernetic resurrection! The quote on cybernetic resurrections is a magos talking about how Herrod is now freed from the flesh that "so recently failed him." Now, there's no date on that quote but I would have to think that it probably happened after his disappearance as having a bionic body seems to be a big thing to forget to mention when talking about him.
