The main goal of the deck is to use life’s overall edge of selection and agro in miniblock. There are enough cards to mitigate damage to almost nothing while pumping your damage to some pretty high values. The concern for Nightmare is a bit relieved by Memories of a Nightmare and Regretful existence. There is enough damage pumps in the deck to make any attack land hard. There is enough speed pumps to make almost all your attacks go through. Genius Alchemist lowers your check cost. I can use Pendant of Western Paradise in combo with Dark Past to get my kill condition back into my hand on my next turn. Robes of the Grandmaster and Purified Body give you speed pumps to get your attacks through.

I picked out Razor Bite because it had a high speed and I had a ton of damage pumps I could use. I have more damage pumps then speed pumps. Damage pumps aren’t hard to do. Reborn Slasher is really a fient for Dragon Punch after I get a few cards face up. Everything else is momentum fuel.

I know I need to cut it a little more but I don’t quite know what yet. The only thing I'm noticing is that while Life Yi Shan is faster and has more shinangian protection. Earth Yi Shan can do more damage.
