Thoughts about the rotation.

That's because so many characters were god awful. Who ran anyone outside Felicia in Realm of Midnight in a tournament? What about anyone from Cutting edge? Flash of the Blades (I ran Talim in the SoCal regionals but I was the only one)? Deadly Ground?

Y'mean like Nagase, Iori, Kyo, Mai, Juni, Adon, SEONG MINA, etc? (and lots of people ran Felicia...did you forget one of them making second place at the Oshawa regional?)

And no, it's 21 characters' worth of SUPPORT, as Waffle said before. Not the actual number of characters.

Tag: try again. Set 11 dropped in December - eight months.

Close enough, it was off-the-top-of-my-head calculation. I thought it was in November.

He specifically mentioned Felicia.

And like I said before, it's not like it's 21 characters with only 8 support cards each like we used to get. It's 21 characters with 17 support cards each plus a few extra, much better. Basically, we're about where we were when set 2 dropped (24 characters spread over 2 licences). We seemed to do OK then.

Exactly. I remember having to run the absolute WORST cards in existence back in set 1 (If you newer players don't believe me, go to twoheaded dragon and look em up).

We all know that we can still play B3 in our own groups but that is not enough for some players. I do understand that this is a major inconvenience for some or even many of us. But try to keep in mind that if a game that was made for gamers by gamers and is going to have many flaws for many different reasons.

One being point of view and that very attribute, (being a characteristic of individuality) needs to be checked by out side views from others ie: play testers, game designers and us as the players. We have a lot more influence and ability than we know or choose to use appropriately (and no use is inappropriate use) and this is why I can not say that I did not see this coming. That is not to say that I disagree or agree with any of you who think this is a bad move, I just think that this is not simple if it were we would not have this problem. This is about point of view more than anything else and I can see most as reasonable and clear retro inspired thought processes. In which there was a plethora of things that could have taken place in preference to the current situation, but the problem there is that they did not and until a major move was made we did nothing to truly voice our likes and dislikes or more over our concerns as a united whole to move the game in a direction that we could have enjoyed more than the current alternative. Also if we continue to shift our blame and questions toward James,Steve and and the rest of the staff with out accepting our part in this (and we do have a part in this) we are bound to repeat this again.

Just think for one sec. about this, If you can say well look at the cards they were printing, if you can say they should have just banned a certain card or cards, and if you can say well they should have printed cards with answers like this then it is safe to say that you, no us, all of us could have done more. Like, not play busted cards, also come together on the forums as a united whole to list cards that cause a negative play environment and try to get them removed insted of breaking them even more. Hey how about not supporting poor quality quick fix cards that only create more holes and problems to be dealt with later not to mention continuous or locking combos that now only require you to run 4-8 (and that is saying a lot on they attack side) attacks. They messed up and to say that they are trying design their way out of anything is gracious at best and I do agree that they have and need to acknowledge that they have fault but a fault we share. This is only to point out that many of us have been want ing some thing to change this game for the better but did very little to change it and even more of those same people went out and sought out those same broken or hated cards (I know it was to keep up in competion) and only feuled the very thing you were complaining about and now we are where we are. So and I mean no disrespect but deal. This is our bed sleep in it or get a new one seem to be the options that many are focused on and maybe even rightly so but remember this is our game, our bed you can make it how you wish and when you do blame no one but yourself if it is uncomfortable. I say this to inspire good play spirit and acceptence for many points of view. Peace
