How difficult (or is it impossible) to play BSG with only two players?

I saw some of the demo on the GenCon videos and a friend of mine in Maryland keeps harping on about how great it is. Do I have any hope, or do I need to wait until my daughters are old enough to play as well?gui%C3%B1o.gif

There’s actually an official variant for two players lurking around on this very site, a solo version too. Though the intrigue portion of the game tends to be better with more people and that’s generally considered the main draw of the game.

Thanks, I'll take a look around for it. Now, do you think those boxes that they had to open in Indy for GenCon are being sold at a deep discount??

In case you haven't found it, the Variant Rules are available for download from the BSG Support page.

Thanks. Last night right before I started looking my wife decided that she wanted to watch all the GenCon videos so I got kicked off the computer. I'll take a look at this right now.

wow, I am so glad I stumbled on this thread. Some players I know are definitely going to be favorable towards 'full co-op' mode, and I myself would love to give the one-player game a go. thanks so much!
