Hell, I am. Of course I haven't played since before March 25th due to surgery.....looking forward to the day when I can get out and get some games in, Armada and X-Wing both....and get some hot wings too.

I play at D and J Hobby all the time! But no one shows up anymore except me. =(

The employees there are really really nice though. And they play with me sometimes when they're free.

Also, amazingly enough, I think its a nicer store to women and kids. A lot less of the sneering competitive ******* males.

I had to opposite experience at D&J - Hadn't been to the new location so I dragged my wife in with me to see what they were doing with a smaller store and the kid working there wouldn't leave us alone... Well, I should say wouldn't leave my wife alone.

"What kind of games do you play?"

"I'm just here with my husband".

"Oh yeah, but what do you play?"

"Nothing".

"You should try this".

"...Just here with my husband".

Kid wouldn't stop hovering...

Everything the kid said was addressed directly to her breasts... Won't be going back there.

I have never heard of Isle of Gamers before, I have to check it out!

They apparently do a X-Wing league on Tuesdays, but I haven't been yet (damned theatre kills all my play time).

This is probably the kookiest trade request ever but...

I'm looking to start a new campaign and I need a Mon Calamari main character.

Does anyone have the LEGO mini-figurine of Admiral Ackbar? (Honestly, I probably would just like the whole figurine, not just his head and flippers, but.. I could make it work with just those too.)

I have nearly all the pilot and upgrade cards for XWing except IG stuff and Tantive. Also have Magic cards.

Yes I did. I demoed my mat but didn't have anyone to play with. I've had great reception and feedback for my mat so far.

Speaking of Bay Area stores: Endgame in Oakland is phenomenal, friendly, has several large gaming tables (originally built for Games Workshop stuff, but whatever), and located a 2 block walk from a BART stop. Even when I lived in SF, they were the easiest games store for me to get to.

You live near Santa Cruz? My local shop has 6 week xwing tourneys there every few months. Also if you do live near Santa cuz I would def meet up. Won't be driving over the 17 today with Friday traffic haha.
