Battlefoam has Armada Kits

No thanks, I'd rather shop at walmart or amazon than support THAT company...

Care to elaborate?

My BF bag came apart at the seams after the first week (It was carrying a plastic 40K army...so its not like their was a lot of weight in it). Was told to take it to a local tailor shop and have them re-sew the outer canvas back together.

Wait...I just dropped 200+ bones on your product, which then came apart in less than 1 week of normal transport usage...and your solution is to have me spend more money (and my time and transportation costs) to have your brand new product repaired?

As innovative as BF is, I can't recommend them based on lousy after purchase support.

However, turns out the entire Armada core set can fit in one of the red plano cases (or half the blue double sided one) that people also use for their X-Wing stuff. With room to spare.

UTube "DGA armada storage" and check out the setup.

It will be interesting to see if the ISD can fit in that case too???

Okay, then. I did not know that story/information and there is rather a lot of it so in this case the "google it" is reasonably in line. Thanks.

Hes a shady dude that has more than once tried to sue competators out of business, and sue people who have reported on his shadiness. I think he's stopped though, since he keeps losing...

A lot of companies pull the crap all the time, but he keeps losing so I just ignore that little guy.

If you don't mind piecing things together yourself for storage/transport, try these guys. I use them for my X-Wing stuff. The most expensive thing was the pluck foam to put in the trays.

I have the soft sided case (91-A2) and a few of each of the 2" and 3" wooden utility trays. The pluck foam I got from my LGS, and was the right size to fit in each tray, with about an inch of extra room along one short edge. Roughly $30 invested (not including foam).

I do think it's interesting your comparing Walmart's business practices by implying them as having the moral high ground.

If you're basing your argument on google, try this: google Walmart lawsuit or Walmart workplace fairness or Walmart discrimination, Walmart gender discrimination or Walmart EEOC, or Walmart age or disability discrimination etc...

Or perhaps not

I don't think you quite understand my statement... I was saying I would rather shop with them than battlefoam, implying that yes they are shady, but I hold battlefoam in even lower regard.

I think he understood your statement, but was questioning your consistency.

When K&R Multicase gets their Armada stuff available, I will direct people to them every time

Absolutely" can't recommend them enough.

I own a Pack 720 bag. I've looked at the BF foam for Armada and the place where I think they got it wrong was storing the ships on their bases and having the tray so thick in order to store them this way and the SD base assembled. That's a lot of wasted space. I'd rather have a tray where the ships lay "flat" like the X-Wing trays. Hopefully they will come out "baseless" options when Wave 1 comes out.

I don't believe you implied that they are shady but stated rather explicitly "hes a shady dude". So yes thank you I understood you quite well.

I have not had any issues with Battle Foam. I used Plano but switched to Battle Foam when my collection got cumbersome enough. I have never had any problems with Battle Foam personally though I must say the custom foam creator can be more space efficient than their pre-built trays.

So Romeo is not cool but for a CEO he is pretty average and compared to Walmart he's a very good guy. (Personally I wouldn't piss on him if he were on fire but if I judged the products I bought by their CEO's I wouldn't be buying anything.)

Hey guys, we need to bring this forum back on topic before one or more of you gets sued for slander.

Agreed, although the base templates will be useful for storing a bunch of the separate bases.

BF customer service said they expect to have the custom tray creator updated with the Armada shapes this week. i asked for shapes to store the ships only without the bases so we'll see what happens.
