Well, it has a few more specifics...

By GreyLord, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

There is a new system it sounds like, and it is experimental. It's made to have it easier for new players to get into the game and understand the storytelling and narrative form of Game Mastering in Warhammer Roleplay. It's also supposed to be more tactile, or from what I gather more hands on with visuals and things you can see and hold.

Okay, maybe not tons, but a few more specifics. They actually are trying to keep the price down, which is why they only have enough stuff in it for the GM and three players, but more can be added if they get Adventurer Kits.

My personal opinion, it sounds as if they are trying to make the game accessible to newbies. I think that even if they are trying to keep the price down, they need to jettison the extra optional additions and cut costs. For newbies I think the $100 will be prohibitive and they won't get that many newbies to even try it, so all that effort for nothing except to make the old players a little grumpy. They need to cut it down to $50 or less...In MY OPINION of course.

I have expressed similar thoughts elsewhere, at $50-$60 if FFG were taking pre-orders they would already have my money, but at $100 I am still undecided.
