After hearing the recent anouncement leak that all 4 stars will be retired soon and also looking at the mini block cards I can see life got it good. Most of what makes life (life gain and in my opinion mild damage midigation) is being reworked. While life gain is not present in the newer sets as a direct option you do have attacks if they land that give minor points of life back. But life has access to a lot of cards that mittigate damage and have access to the biggest hitting set of attacks which are seigfrieds cards. With death and evil loosing a lot of their ability to foundation tap and check hax, and order having even less ability to control life might come up as a shocker to suprise people.

Building a Life deck, you can draw from Tira, Ivy, Siggy, Lu Chen, and Yi Shan.

Seems pretty good... maybe something janky with Tira -> Wrath of Heaven combo+multiple:1

Certainly competitive, but then again (presumably) all of the symbols will be more-or-less competitive, hopefully to the point where the question, which symbol is best? will be answered by the metagame, not as much by the individual cards.

Personally I'm glad i'm an earth player and will still be one after the new block comes into effect. Earth has a lot of soft control and evil and death have the discard and anti life gain cards. Sadly since there isn't any life gain a lot of death's anti healing cards are almost worthless. Well until we see life gain come back into the block.

In the next set, Xianghua and Mitsurugi both have Life.

Also, there's a new 7HS 18V ShadoWar character with Death/Life/Void who, if she doesn't make you like ShadoWar, I don't know what will.

For me they are. My first month of prize support got returned to FFG because the owner wasn't at the store when it was delivered. I haven't gotten my Aug prize support at all. I tried finding the promos at cool stuff and they weren't there. So yeah I'm a bit screwed on that.

Sounds like something you need to work out with the owner and/or FFG...

I've tried emailing Hata. I never get any response. So I gave up on that. The owner says that FFG hasn't returned ship the original prize support so I'm sort of stuck.
