Fighters, bombers, and capitals, Oh My!

So in x-wing there was a pretty balanced triangle of counters of swarms> turrets, turrets> aces, aces> swarms. So in armada there seems to be two camps heavy fighter base and heave capital base 3 gladiators and a victory is possible. But leave one pretty open to fighters and bombers. Without squadron commands are fighters/bombers even worth having vs an all capital list because usually once a capital moves it can get out of range about half the time.

Which way are you leaning and why?

It's hard to predict how the metagame, fashion and other variables will shape the tournament fleet rosters.

Back to your question, you've asked if having a force multiplier was viable when your opponent had none. ;)
