Well, if the news from Worlds is accurate, Standard format will become 5-point shuriken only. With that in mind, a whole lot of characters go flying out the window. So, my question basically is, which Block 4 character's strategy looks the most interesting to you? I'm with Yi Shan** , but I'm biased. Feel free to let out your opinion.

*Note: Even if the news from Worlds is NOT true, this question still has some merit in mini-block format, so please don't dismiss the thread out of hand.

i like Seigfried because he has built in damage pump. I think in mini block it is a lot harder to kill so with his built in pump he is going to be the ****.

that block 4 character would I want to play... hmm hmm hmm... none that are currently out, none from Tekken, only one that I would want to play isn't made yet.

iam sticking with my rashotep...he owns this format

It would make me sad to take Anakaris out of my Pharaoh deck and go pure Rash. But I'm excited about the Lu Chen foundation that was spoiled that makes reversals easier. And I'm excited about King and Jin and Kazuya and Paul and I love my Lu Chen/Yi Shan and Astrid/Ragnar and Cervantes/Algol and Temujin.

Most interesting?... They're all interesting!

I have Temujin, Lu Chen, and a janky Zi Mei 20-attacks-with-Unnatural-Grace deck built...

But regardless, mah boi is and always will be Siegfried. Have to convert my former Standard Siggy deck to Block 4 soon

I will have to say Rashotep. Look at the cards that back him and you will see that he is a throwing machine. Which in this game says a lot. If built properly he can go through a turn and land 4-5 attacks and do a good amount of damage. He is not to be slept on. If you combine some elements from Yi Shin he becomes almost unstoppable. In spite of Zi Mei being popular I would say not to sleep on Astrid. Using Ragnar attacks and a few select attacks from her set and ther right assets she can kill fast and lay down the pain. With evil loosing a lot of if its check hacking and foundation tapping control earth and order are going to be turned to more frequently. Players looking to hedge some bets on getting stuff through will look at Rahsoteps cards for control and Yin Shins cards for pure damage pump and stun sillyness.

Jin, zhao or Astaroth. jin using kazuya's cards is gonna be awesome.

sorry guys Paul is gonna be the new number 1 character its gonna suck to be able to use him for one whole month before he gets banned. I mean look at how awesome his hair is theres no way he could be beaten!

Jin Kazama...don't know what he does yet, but he was one of my absolute faves to play in the actual arcade fighter. I'm also looking to see what Christie's Capoera looks like!

I really want to get a hold of this Dariya lady...

when I saw she was from Shadowar I didn't give her much expense, then I gazed at her symbols; Air (FAVORITE) All (comendable) Water (reversally-loopish), read her first ability; "Commit one of mine for one of yours", or better yet "Point, click, steal" and fell in love with her R ability.

Air and All to me have been huge with blocking, no matter the check, and then pulling out the reversal... from what I've seen with Terry and Rock cards. Air and Water I have not seen too much lately because I have lack to look that far. All and Water, from the days of Sakura, are still scary to me.

So I'm really wanting one of her to go out and spin with, and with my birthday coming up next week I'll hopefully be able to grab a copy or four xD... also can't wait for the upcoming scans of characters from ShadowDragon.

Im atm playing Yi Shan** and am going to be planning an Astrid of no dots, when i get more cards.
As soon as Tekken comes out i will be playing Nina because i loves her. and depending on what Paul does i will run him.
i used to love Dariya but she isnt so good in block 4 iv found as she cant fully block easily, there isnt much interesting to copy anymore and her symbols arent supported enough to be fantastic.
thats alot of plans for a block of sets i dont realy like lol.

I'm all for Ragnar, Astrid, and possibly something interesting with Rash, with that new terrain card they promo at Gen Con.
