Is 4-point rotating as soon as Tekken hits!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Is this announcement about ***rotation*** REAL!?
where did you find this information? could you post a link to it?
My friend Sage (Eithinis) called me. It's an announcement that was just made at Worlds!
edit: I swear, Sage. If you're lying I will tie a barbed wire laced with poison ivy around your genitalia.
Early rotation would solve a lot of problems....
I was considering switching after Tekken anyway.
That would be way too early O.o I hope this is false, cause this would be the final straw. My playgroup hangs on a string as it is...I am having trouble keeping them in as is >.<
You wouldn't have to worry about Cage Arena...
(your sig)
That would be ridiculous if the already make the rotation. There are not even close to enough cards to support a rotation this early. Please let this be a joke.
if it is true then my playgroup most likely will switch to legacy :S
Early rotation pros:
+ Miniblock is a lot more fun than standard, so making miniblock standard can't be bad.
+ Encourages purchasing or Tekken
+ Rewards purchasing of Shadowar and SCIV01
+ Blood Runs True, Ira-Spinta, Feline Spike, Reanimated, Psycho Style, Chinese Boxing, Program Malfunction, The Gorgeous Team, Seal of Cessation, Amy's Assistance, Mysterious Stance, Make a Difference and many other cards that have been complained about will be GONE.
Cons:
- Your old cards won't work?
- You spent too much money getting pieces of cardboard that are as effective as the material they are printed on right about now
- Blood Runs True, Ira-Spinta, Feline Spike, Reanimated, Psycho Style, Chinese Boxing, Program Malfunction, The Gorgeous Team, Seal of Cessation, Amy's Assistance, Mysterious Stance, Make a Difference and many other cards that you use will be GONE.

You can say that again, bro.
early that would leave people with 3 sets and if you did that all you would be playing is mini block it would be stupid to do that really cause the will be hundreds of decks that are pretty much the same

How is that different from Worlds right now!?
It would also make the game a LOT more accessible to newbies, which was the purpose of miniblock.

Honestly at this point I'd like some stability in the game. It's gotten to the point where we don't even know where the game will be headed a month from now.
We know now.
(post was way too short)

I agree, I like the stability of the new sets. I do get a little tired playing all the "overpowered - but yet not overpowered enough to get banned" cards (BRT, Feline Spike, Battle Prowess, etc....)
so is this confirmed or just speculation?
because every has atleast a diffrent idea of how to do something and to be honest we have just had block 3 rotation and the fact most people will be after the same cards fair enough every one is after power cards but everyone will be after basic good cards

Until Steve posts it...speculation
If this is a lie we can hunt Eithinis down
Well, they may still change their mind if the players at Worlds give them feedback about it, or it may be final.
No more Zi Mei means we ALL win

thats because they have just released the core sets of course there will be more balanced stuff there is a larger amout of 4 point so naturally will be more problem cards. but the fact there will always be problem cards, i mean i keep seeing people complaining about prowess i have fair enough it is annoying but there are cards which negate or other things with life gain or youjust hit them more. but just because people dont like certian cards doesnt mean they should have an early cycle to get rid of them all there are solutions.

As it is, it's chock full of borderline broken crap that results in a NPE. IT IS NOT FUN. The recent bannings helped, but not much. If they reached this decision it was probably because they read all the decklists and realized that 1) everyone was playing mostly 4 point stuff and little to NO 5-point stuff and 2) that the meta is stale as crap.
Yah wow this is what they should of done from the begining. Rotate right after worlds. Thank Goodness I have been playing around with the block five for a while now.
Dut just confirmed in a text message.
Rather than quit or disband playgroups, why not just support Legacy more? Alternate Legacy and Block 4.
Yes, the card pool will be too small, but the game is suffering badly from the Standard format being so completely horrible. The game NEEDS this if it's going to survive, because too many people have quit because of the game's developments since release 8. The last year and a half for UFS have been a complete nightmare.
But, but, but... I want to play my
Yi Shan*
deck...
