Good thing I got Middle-Earth Quest this week then, with 104 games of Arkham Horror left on the schedule and MEQ still in the early days, I'll survive until then, easy. Heck, still haven't gotten Dungeon .

I see myself already playing talisman alone..

But if i want to try a game out, then i do it off course..

AH is a co-op, you play against the game, so to speak. Each player playing 1 investigator or soloing using 4 investigators, you're still trying to beat the game. Whereas in a non-co-op like Talisman, you're trying to beat the other players. IIRC Velhart, you have Lord of the Rings as well. I solo that also quite a bit, AH is in the same vein, game mechanics in both do the work for Sauron or the GOO.

There is a difference between talking with players what for cards they have, and if you play solo and can look at all the cards for yourself..

I have play Lotr solo 3 or 4 times. It was just to see how far i can come with how many hobbits i use, including expansions or not.. etc

But are you playing most of your time boardgames alone?

Off course, if you like it, then nothing is wrong with that;) 'but for me... it's boring..

I wonder if the light/dark fate rules will be coming with the Frostmarch expansion...??

But i have the feeling that they will not be included in this expansion..

Wasn't it mention by John Goodenough that the next expansion was suppose to be toaderific?

I wonder where the "toad lord" fits into Frostmarch?

If this set includes the upcoming modified fate rules it will be possible to alter your opponents' dice. That would make for a lot more toads!

This rule will also increase player interaction significantly. Way to go FFG!
