2009 Team Worlds Winners

By ShadowDragon, in UFS General Discussion

For those who are curious, a couple hours ago Team UFS House (Paul, Jon and Matt from OH) beat Team Why Are You Attacking Me (Magnus, Noel and Osei from NY, I apologize if I butchered names) in the finals to earn their second team asset this year. Also, new promos were given out, and when I get home on Sunday I'll scan whatever ones I can get my hands on by then =P

I don't remember much else about teams (I sat that event out to hang out with peoples) but top 4 consisted of the 2 already mentioned, Team Tapout, and another team (I forgot the name, my memory is TERRIBLE today apparently >_>) that consisted of a player from WI (Sieg on the forums), Hewittzil, and another guy who I do not know the name of >_> I do believe that he was one of the members on Patriot Games though but I cannot say for certain. There were 17 teams in total. I'll leave the rest up to the people themselves to write up reports and all that other stuff.

That matchup seems familiar... wasn't that 2007 team worlds too?

Congrats to them it's just so sad that I couldn't make it sad.gif

17 teams, that's such a sad turnout. Two years ago Team Worlds and Worlds were both awesome, there were so many people.

UFS House, congrats from me and my UFS Crew here, when I heard my guys were out, I was hoping you'd take it.

Teams was so much fun. Thanks to all whom I played and all whom I met for the first time.

I am assuming that "another guy who I do not know the name of" would be Ross Graham, aka Speedsta.

In which case, bloody well done guys. happy.gif

2007 team worlds was James, Fred and Omar

How are team games done anyway? like is it a multiplayer game or is it one player against one other for each member?

I didn't say finals...

I think it was the top4 match of 2007 team worlds. It was pretty freaking epic too.

like we expected any other teams than ones that already have assets to win? lol congrats UFS House
