It's finally up on the main Dark Reign site, so don't hesitate to pop on over and give it a read.
There's some really juicy bits in there for you!

Thanks for putting up the news post
Hehe:
MILLANDSON: Good to know.
Given that the first people many people think of when "starship captains" are Jean-Luc Picard, James. T. Kirk and Hans Solo, which fictional character would you most like to see converted into Rogue Trader?
Ross Watson: That's easy.
Mal Reynolds.
Kage2020: I love you.
I have to say that I agree with Kage2020 in that regard. Mal Reynolds is THE Rogue Trader to be.
Oh and P.S About the Ninjas vs. Pirates dilemma, Ninjas would win. Every time! I have learned that from the Ask-a-ninja Ninja.
Yay! My contribution to Creatures Anathema got mentioned! Now people will be less likely to look at me like I'm crazy when I point at the Lictor page in that book and say "I helped write that!".
Only less likely. Walking down a high street with an RPG sourcebook, proclaiming your involvement in its creation to random passers by will still get you more than your fair share of strange looks.

Getting strange looks is good. In fact, if I don't get them I instantly feel that im doing something wrong.
Reading the parts about Radicals Handbook and Ascesion (and "... LOTS of books planned for Dark Heresy."), I´m falling in love with FFG again :-)
btw.: Penal Legionare Career!!! (alternate rank I suppose, but still!!)
EDIT: "Ross Watson: Rogue Trader and Dark Heresy are FULLY COMPATIBLE games. It is totally possible to have Rogue Trader characters join an Inquisitor's retinue, and for Dark Heresy characters to join a Rogue Trader's crew.
The difference I was talking about earlier is in the core experience, what the game is about. Rogue Trader is a game about grasping your ambition, wresting profit from the stars, acquiring wealth and power, exploring the unknown reaches of the galaxy.
So, you could definitely have an adventure with both Dark Heresy characters and Rogue Trader characters. "
My dear, I take back all my pessimistic rumblings on Rogue Trader forums and I´m entering state of pre-release nirvana
Well, I asked the questions I thought you guys might want answering!
Just doing my job as an investigative interviewer
I just want to say what a fine job Ross Watson has done at promoting rogue trader and staying communicative with his customers, all while designing an RPG! This dude has boundless energy and I hope the best for him and his work. There are some advantages to being involved in such a small hobby, and guys like Ross are one of those advantages. God Emperor be with you, Ross.
On the other side of the spectrum, you have the release for Warhammer Fantasy 3rd ed, which was a little bit more like someone leaping out of a dark closet and shouting....
"Surprise Cockbags!"
Just kidding. I wish the Warhammer Fantasy Guys the best of luck, too.
(pardon the foul language/team america referance. I realize this is a family website)
