Is 7 handsize going to be to risky in the future?

I know by now we all have seen the preview of "King's Reverse DDT." While I was trying to build a Rashotep deck I realized the future potential I had with this card in his deck. The strong 7 handsize may become to much of a risk if this card see's popular play. Unfortantly getting a playset of them will be impossible for some due to it being an UR that will go for a ton of money. King's card has a lot of good symbols on it. So what do you all think? Will seven hand sizers be to risky or will they come out fine in the end.

With as hard as blocking is in mini-block so far, it really is in your best interest to play 6-hs char. With the addition of king's stuff it seems Hata wants people to really play 6hs chars and that 7-hs has alot more risks attached to it.

That's what it seems to be. I know that is only 1 of King's cards. I can only wonder what else there is in store. There is a terrain from Soul Caliber IV that increases handsize. But it increases both players handsize. That is a bit to risky. The thing is that it seems King will win if the opponents handsize is bigger or smaller then it is supposed to be. As for other characters using his cards the potential for handsize control and manipulation seems to be the bigger threat.

seeing the DDT attack gave me chills because I as well do see it becoming a new Spike, or more likely a Spinta, however the risk of having 7hs I don't see too well... because I'm too used to people playing with that or 8hs to get the game done and quick.

I'm more concerned a 4 or 5 hand sized character will play this card and wreck normal play. I forgot what the card name is but it is from Soul Caliber 3 it lets you discard a card and fish for a card you want. Then bam go get this maneuver and it starts going to work for you.

teh banned hugo? or are you talking about girado's leader ship a 6 dif / 3 cc foundation ~_~

You Must Defeat Shen Long? Yeah, that's kinda nasty. Hi Void control, long time no see :) Luckily, that's a hard check to make for the DDT early, and Legacy is truly the land of the aggro decks

I think it was girdots leadership. but that is a non-issue after the new block announcement.

I don't really see it as much of an "engine" or all that threatening. Either you're spending a million resources to make your opponent draw less cards, or you're lowering their hand size and making both abilities do nothing. It's a good card, that's all.

derp derp derp, Shen Long was SF anyway >_>
