I've read the manual 3 times and plan to fire up a solo game this weekend to learn the game.

I've seen three sets of solo rules over at Board Game Geek! (links below)
Have any of you tried these?
Do you know of any others?
Which one looks the best?

1. Overlord Matrix Variant 1.1 (willdesigns, recommended 38 times)

2. Athmok Solo Variant (athmok, recommended 8 times)

3. TheGelatinousCube Solo Variant (thegelatinouscube, recommended 4 times)

4. Fast Tactics.pdf (Christopher Park)

My experiences with these:

1. I looked through the instructions and felt it was too much of a pain in the ass.

2. Not too bad at all, I don't recall if I ever actually played with them.

3. I made the Gelatinous Cube simple solo rules. I wanted something with very little house-keeping that just let me play through a quest in a shorter amount of time.

If it were me, I'd ditch them all and play Descent Quest (also mine).

Lol, I thought you would respond! I have your decent quest stuff printed off for usage in the future. For now I am just trying to learn the game.
