So far, I have the main book and Creatures Anathema.
What would be the wisest choice for the next books I purchase?

The Inquisitors Handbook and then Desciples of the Dark Gods the others are adventure books and could be gotten at any time
Depends on what you feel that you need the most at the moment. Disciples of the Dark Gods contain mostly stuff interesting for the GM, while Inquisitors Handbook contains mostly stuff interesting for the players.
I was going to recommend getting the Inquisitor's Handbook and then Disciples of the Dark Gods... but in the time it took for this page to load ThenDoctor beat me to it.
Unless you are really hurting for campaign ideas, I would recommend not picking up any of the adventure books afterwards, because there are more supplements due out for Dark Heresy later this year, and they might be more useful to you in the long-term.
Afaik Inquisitor's Handbook contains mainly new gear and detailed descriptions of the skills, while DotDG describes numerous enemies to throw at the acolytes.
A new option is just arising: a copy of the Rogue Trader will provide you with rules for starship battles and the like and will probably make a good expansion of DH. However, up to now this is a bit of speculation as noone of us really knows how much new material will be in it and how well RT and DH work together.
I'd convince one of your players to buy Inquisitor's Handbook as it's mainly just stuff for the PCs. DotDG is a great GM book with cults, daemons and stuff. Personally I save your money for Rogue Trader book. Even if you want to play DH virtually everything in that book will just work in DH.
Inquisitor's Handbook without a doubt. Potentially followed by the Radical's Handbook when that comes out in a month or two.
And get sure you DON´T buy "Tattered Fates".
If you have to decide between "IH" and "DotdG", I would vote for "DotdG". I own both of them. While IH gives you a lot of new char-gen options and really nice equipement, "Disciples" gives a lot of ideas for infos about "the enemy". Which might be better for you in the long run, if you have/want to write your adventures yourself.
In addtion, the actual IH is still "a nest of bugs". If you wait a little, perhaps a version with included errate will be out.
While I agree that DotDG is a great resource for the GM you already have Creature's anathema for adversary ideas. I would go with the Inquisitor's handbook first as it has lots of general background and setting details in amongst the gear and careers and a fantastic section of faith in the Imperium - a must read for any GMs & cleric players.
I say IH first with DotDG a close second.
I think that you should get both DotDG and Inuisitor´s Handbook. What first, depends on how you like your players. If you like them, you should go IH, for new opportunities of characters creation and advance, masses of new equipment and intresting notes about the life of an acolyte. If you don´t like them that much, then get DotDG and put them deep into the malevolent conspiracies of corrupted pre-Thor Ecclesiarchy devotees, bodysnatching xenos and ravenous hordes of nihilistic warp cultists!![]()

Wrong topic, I´m struggling a little bit with FFG forums now...

Thanks for pointing that out, I didn't know that. Could you please tell of most serious blunders? I'll have to take them into account, as my crew has rather extensive use of IH. Thanks!
Ironically I think the best books for your budget are the ones you already have. Purge the Unclean does not have a great deal most GM's can't produce themselves. Inquistor's Handbook has a lot of neat additional stuff but is not required. The others vary based on the needs of your campaign.
One major point speaking for Inquisitors Handbook, is the fact that getting it first will save some annoying retcon-issues later regarding the PC's. For instance, let's say that one of the PC's is a Techpriest from a Forge World. The specifics for people from Forge Worlds are not described in the main rulebook. So having all the necessary books to let the players kit out their characters completely might be for the best.
dont forget the freebiees as well.

Hi,
check out the official errata in the DH Support Section. "Nest" might have been a little harsh, but to me most of them are pretty annoying. So I tend to be rather harsh refering to them.
The bugs are scatter over
- Skill & Talents List of Sororita
- the new character options
- the equipment & their prices
Especially the "scattered over equipment" makes me angry. If a player off my thumbs through the book for "goodies", I do not want to look through the errata.
At least I too can find out the better books to get as well thanks.
