painted cows?

By diaper, in Battlelore

Hello everybody

after almost two years of painting i´m finally getting close to finishing painting all the current Battlelore units, only the dwarven cavalry units are left.

I usually like to look around at how other people have done go get some inspiration and ideas before i start painting a new kind of unit, but i can´t find very many pictures of these units.

Does anybody have any pictures to post?

Showed up on mine. Very well done. I just started the core set (biting off the blue infantry first) Out of curiousity did you hand shade or use the dip method of some type?

THanks for the pictures everyone!

That is an amazing picture of the cow riders. The static grass really works well on these. Thanks for sharing the picture!

My Wife and I are currently painting the base set. However we have some of the Scottish Wars painted. I can get you a picture of how we painted the cows if you want. I think they turned out quite well. For the cows and horses I usually use a base coat of paint then then the Model Works washes. Usually gives a very nice look and is really easy to do. Let me know if you are still interested and we can hook up somehow.

What I want to know is how do you prime them? When I did the cavalry I didn't successfully spray the legs and underbody. Thank god I have low standards.

Thanks for the offer Netaaron, I´m always curious to see how others have painted their BL-figs, but I already started painting the cows(hope to finish them today or tomorrow) so i don't really need them.
