I was reading throu the quest when i saw this text "if the heroes kill either of the two ice wyrms in area 8, but area 6 has not yet been revealed: immediatly place the ice wyrm into area 8..." so my question is how do you get into area 8 without going into area 6??

I know you can get there from area 5 but it says that if you come that way the OL shall place the last wyrm in the room...

I havn't played that quest - but I read that and that stuck out to me as well!

I couldn't think of how that could happen actually! The area 5 bit makes sense to me - in pulling that Ice Worm into Area 8 - but I think it might just be a case of the writers being over descriptive about it - to be sure all the Ice Worms get killed... Not really sure - but yeah - thought that was oddly worded.

To actually answer the question though... It isn't possible to get into Area 8 without getting the key from that room... unless you travel into Area 5 and get ported.
