It never even occured to me that girls play games for attention. I've played Double Dragon with my cousins since I was a tiny little girl and I've enjoyed it since.
I'd like to think of myself as just one of the guys, we hang out, play a few games, goof off. There's absolutely no need to elevate gamer girls to another level simply because they share a hobby with you. With wii games being so accessible to everyone and their mom, the line between a girl and a gamer girl is slowly diminishing. So to all the nerds out there looking for their girls to play games with them, show them wario ware..or hell even wii fit. Slowly build them up to hadokens and TF2.
