a few questions

By elstevo, in Rules Discussions

1. do cards that deal with dark cards such as traverse town lvl 3 affect Dark Riku?

2. With Kingdom Key is the damage dealt due to the difference in addition to normal -1 hp loss?

3. Since the new magic cards also have "/attack" does that mean you can search them out with the old lvl 4 Goofy?

4. With Jafar Genie since it is played after Jafar has been defeated the player has to wait til the next turn to battle it correct?

thank you for your time

1. Riku is a Player/Dark , the dark cards it refers to is as in Heartless and Villains.

2. Yes, if I am lv 1, and you are lv 3, you would lose -2 from kingdom key, and -1 from the challenge.

3. You know, I just noticed that now. I feel stupid for that. I would rule no, because in the deck and discard, it would be a magic. Kind of like a magic/friend, but is also considered a magic card when played, like magic/friends that are considered a friend when in play.

4. The player could use Magic/Attack after the battle if I am correct to attack Jaffar Genie after the battle. Magic/Attack is an umbrella to indicate that that magic cards does damage. If they don't they would either have to wait until the next turn to attack, or they can escape if they don't think they can clear the world.

If anyone can help to verify my answers, it would be nice.

Correct indeed. Traverse Town lvl 3 only affects the Heartless 'n Villains.

Correct again. The Kingdom Key would certainly cause the additional HP damage after the initial -1 HP from losin the challenge.

Correct once more. They are only magic cards. The attack is to clarify that people can use them in a challenge to boost a player card's attack, if desired.

Again, correct. After a battle, a person could play magic cards (if possible) to damage Jafar Genie 'n destroy him from the world.

Nicely done on answerin the questions. Kudos to you.

so cards that say "attack cards cannot be played" (Sea Neon) or "attack cards deal no damage" (Sebastian) do not effect the new magic cards?

It would not affect those magic cards. It is still a magic card, regardless. Magic is an umbrella of types of cards. Like Magic/friends, we now have magic/attack. Sea Neon and Sebastion would only affect ATTACK cards from the first three sets.
