Right, with Worlds coming up next week, and with me getting there on the Tuesday, I thought it would be a good idea if we all decided on somewhere to meet up before Worlds so's we can all get to know one another beforehand. I've asked previously where people are staying, and a few people replied, but having spoken to Matt H a couple of days ago over the phone, I understand that everyone already has somewhere to meet/play etc.

I'm planning to go to the Gencon venue on the Wednesday morning to pick up my Gencon tickets as early as possible, as it means I get it out of the way and leaves the rest of the day to do other things (*wink* ) Is everyone thinking along the same lines, and can tell me what they're thinking of doing on the Wednesday? If not, I'm sure it'll be fine, I just thought it might be a good idea to meet'n'greet before the actual event

Just to be forwarned - Often Gencon doesn't open up their pre-reg until 4 or 6pm depending on the year. (Sometimes earlier) so your plans to pick them up early may be thwarted.

Based on normal driving paterns - we'll be getting into Indy somewhere around 6pmish indy time (maybe earlier if all goes well)

Sometime after we get in, and get registered, we'll also be doing a trip to Walmart (local deparment/grocery/ store of doom) to get a bunch of stuff for the weekend to cut costs.

Outside of that - socialization is definately an option. One of our team members hasn't played in over a year, so we'll be having to teach him UFS all over again that night.

I'm not going to be leaving Ohio until 6pm I think I haven't even preReg'd! I'm so SOL, still be cool to hang out with people after a marathon line wait starting at 9pm Wednesday

I'm not pre registered and I don't plan on being there till Thursday for Singles (wanna be there Wednesday but no can do).

If I'm not PreRegged, will I still be allowed to participate?
