I think that the Midnight Expansion looks awesome. Is there any chance that they might bring it back some time soon?

It's been out of print for a while. I can't see FFG bringing this one back. If you look hard, you can occasionally find one for sale on Ebay or Boardgamegeek.
Not sure if it's still there but there was someone over on boardgamegeek.com in Korea selling a brand new copy, although I don't remember if it specified it was an English language version.
I've only seen one copy for sale on eBay in the 4 months I was looking for it. It was a used copy, played only once, and it went for a little under $130. Other than that the only copies I've seen for sale, all of which were new, unopened copies, were all from other countries like England, Germany, Australia, etc.
I ordered one from England at the end of June and it still hasn't arrived yet, although I was told it could take as long as 6-8 weeks. I saw another one for sale in France and ordered it using the fastest option given to me and got it last week after just five days. Hopefully, the other one will still arrive preferrably undamaged. I wasn't given the option of insurance so if it's lost or shows up wrecked, I'm kinda screwed and will most likely use it for extra parts in case something gets lost, broken, torn or whatever to my good copy.
If it shows up in good condition I'm putting it up on eBay. And, hopefully, soon as I could really use the cash and I have no doubt a new, unopened copy will go for a really good price. If/when I'm able to put it up on eBay, I'll be sure post an announcement about it here on the boards so keep on the lookout.
I couldn't believe my luck this weekend. I went to a local gaming store in my area just to window shop to see what came out for the month of August. As I was going down the center aisle I see a perfectly shrink wrapped copy of the Runebound Midnight expansion for $39. I snatched it up immediately. When I opened the box it was like it just came fresh from the factory with everything shrink wrapped and in perfect condition. Now if I can just find the desert expansion the same way
I think Sands is on their list of products they are going to reprint.
$130 eh? I have my Midnight expansion opened but unplayed still....hmmm...
Runebound Midnight looks a lot better than it plays. I played it once and that was enough. It wasn't horrible, but it was definitely less fun than any of the other versions of the game.
I don't remember why, but I recall hearing that they weren't going to reprint it.
I was thinking about keeping mine for completeness' sake, but perhaps I'll throw it up on ebay.
I have Mindnight and played it only once and I think it's a pretty good variation. But more importantly it comes with 8 Heroes to add to the base game! And I think some Market cards that can go in the core game too.
I've also only played Sands once to and I really liked it. And I haven't yet tried Islands for Frozen. There is something about the huge amount of variety in adventures and market items in the core game that makes me stick with it.
There's another thread on here about expansion deck's for box expansions like Sands, Frozen and Island that I think would be a great idea to start giving these variations the same massive variety as the core game.
But I agree with this thread. I think FF is treating Midnight as dead.
