It seems that the Edge Entertainment forums (the basis for these new FFG ones) already have a fine selection of Talisman avatars to choose from.

Any chance we can have them too?

Custom would also be nice. I wouldn't mind grabbing a avatar from the 2nd edition artwork, still my favorite...

Hummm I dont (off hand) recognize the 1st 4 or so Avatars.... Hummmmm something new or do I have to pull out old Edition 2 and check all of the cards?

Look at the bottom left avatar, do you recognise the image from the BI edition of the game? You won't as its a new one!

You can choose many avatars, but no talisman. ...
