Dr. Finkelstein??/

His effect states that he puts friends into play instead of "playing" friend cards... would this include the ability to bring back magic/Friend cards as well?

no because they are considered magic everywhere but when they are on the field if I have it right so there for they are not friends

This is correct. Can't have it both ways DD, it would either be Finkelstein or magic search cards that could get them, not both :)

While we're on the topic of Dr. Finkelstein...

What good is he? I've been trying to figure out how he's really good and I can't quite put my finger on it...

He triggers Pegasus' ability since he states that he draws one for every Olympus Coliseum card is put into play, He also revives Auron or Sephiroth for round two, If he triggers coming into play effects, then that opens up another avenue all together

He shouldn't trigger pegasus, because we're finally seeing what all the "this does not count as a play" text pertains to. Reviving Auron is kind of worthless, as he's just a 6. He shouldn't trigger entering play effects because he says that they have blank text boxes.

What he's good for: creating Simba fodder. reviving your 3 best men to take out some angry dark cards, or if you just need to be sure you'll win that challenge, he's good for that too.

Dr. Finkelstein is good for getting that extra power that you dont have anymore to kill off dark cards on a world or something. I don't think he's much help in the challenge department since your opponent also gets too bring 3 friends back also. So to me he is just a more power adding character for world rushing at those times of need when all your friends may have been taken out and your like a few pow short of killing off the dark cards on your world.

It's just always seemed so...boring...

I played WR back in Set 1 cause that's all you really could do, but when Soul Eater came out in Set 2, I went Aggro and never looked back, lol.

I dunno, I'll mess around with it once I get mah cards maybe.

Think of it this way, mate:

Think like a World Runner to know what a World Runner would play to know what would stop a World Runner to play the cards that would stop a World Runner. It certainly would cause an Aggro deck a bonus or two to know what cards would tick off a World Runner the most.

You'd be surprised at what cards people ignore that annoy World Runners a lot. We just don't like talkin bout them. ;)

All in all they both have there faults and advantages when playing. Like when I play I like to play lots of world rushing cause i like to use wisdom as one reason but it was just what I liked. Even though I could make killer aggro decks with nasty combos as one of my friends pointed out, to me it just seemed too easy to make an aggro deck so I dont like making it. But I like making the under dog decks as in yugioh i played decks like E-Heroes, Neo Spacians, and Roid creatures. Like the other day when I made an Aggro Wisdom deck lol, it failed horribly but I like the challenge on making something work lol. So it all just matters of what people like to do and what more fun they have and the persons preference. Like Mr. Dawn likes Aggro cause theres more than just going "What worlds can I play and what cards can I use to kill dark cards." While in aggro its like "How will I stop my opponents friends, from world rushing, from gaining, life, and attacking back. And sometimes drawing cards and searching." Its all on preference lol

Also with Dr. Finkelstein it helps to have a wide variety of friends cause I played him the other day when the only friend I could really take out was Cloud cause all the other friends were replicas of ones on my field lmao.

lol thats why I like using Ansem rofls. He dies too easily cuz of kingdom key though but im also tryin to find ways towards that XD like having lots of overpowered dark cards on the field while clearing away the opponents and at same time having that lv 5 dark card that destroys equips but its pretty hard to put them all on the field X.X lol and cures, curas and curagas will not work primarily b/c:

1> Phils and if he is on the field, I will either have to Darkside or Cage it which are lv 7 and 8's. Kinda hard to pull out if your opponents can destroy your dark friends pretty easily(especially with jack)

2> it's situational, sometimes effect draw power(dead draws, needing a card to initiate your tactics, etc.)

3> hard to lv bridge and at same time always ready to trap your opponent, but then again your opponent has 60-70% chance of having upper hand first turn.

4> need those black fungus to use curagas which will take a space and firned's space is viable if your opponent has monstro; leading it to be a dead draw type of deal. Plus you will have to re-shuffle when you run outta cures...kinda suck you gotta rely on luck or how well you shuffle to get those cures...especially if your opponent likes hacking your friends down with simbas n jacks and watnot when monstro is on the field.

5> kingdom key hits more harder for you to fully regenerate your HP(if you survive a hit from kingdom key, it will take like more than 7 turns mostly to get your health ALMOST back with cures and by that time their will be either problems 1234 or mixtures of them)

And there are other probs but I'm just stop it right here...I got a headache for typing this and studying at the same time ROFLS!

I think in my Ansem Deck I made a while back the only magic I put in it was Curas and Stops (Set 4). Though since the new set with all these new cards and heartless I haven't been able to make a decent dark deck cause i just dont know what dark cards to use since there all awesome lol. Though my Ansem deck was about negating everything. I had Wizards, Sea Neons, Air Pirates (When Set 4 Came out), parasite cages, and 1 or each main villian: Maleficent, Hades, Captain Hook, Jafar and Oogie Boogie. Didn't have a Dragon Maleficent though until now lol. Though my decks are always wierd...

O ic. yeah Ansem decks are pretty hard to make...he is too ez to kill now because of kingdom key. that's why i think for Ansem decks, we should have like cerberus x3 and other overpowered lvl 6's or like large body x3 and stuff like that since they have really good power and cerb attk is +9 and if you have all 3 of them all you really need to use is 2 max. and then to prevent your opponent from using moves thats really annoying in my opinion, like the fairy harp+kingdom key combo, have sea neon and wizard on the field, along with a really big attacker like Queen of Ace. That card is a mad beast once you make your ansem deck like cycle through like crazy. Having alot of draw power will help it alot lol. Just hope they dont jack you since that card will kill this strat XD...or partially it would lol

Oh and have gravity in the deck too. it's always helpful when I dont have wizards on the field and because of draw power like with bouncy wilds and stuff, you can draw them much faster...i just wished that the crescendo's effect can be used when it hits the field regardless if its in world or in your friend area, but its effect only works on worlds >.< lol

Oh man I forgot about gravs and such though the other thing too is since not many people play ansem not everyone is always gonna have a kingdom key cause my decks never put them in. Though unless playing with friends that know you, they will place kingdom keys in there decks lol.

Oh yeah ROFLS! Well we talked enuff about Ansem decks XD, back to Dr. Finkel then:

I would like to use Dr.'s effect to bring out Leon's effect because his effect works when he's discarded correct? Or would his effect not work since Dr.'s effect is faster than Leon's since Leon's effect isn't come into play effect like Dr.'s? XD Then you can like bring out Yuffies and what not into your hand and just have a more card control which will be very useful...but I don't know if this would work or not since it would be pretty cool strat too XD. I'm just thinking on different combos with Leon with Finkels along with Yuffies n stuff.

Dr. Finkel only brings back the name and there supprt/magic nothing more. One it would be a little cheap I guess if they kept there effects and two since Dr. Finkel is bring them back from the "Grave" they are kinda like zombies now lol and zombies never could do special things unless you count the uber boss zombies like Nemesis and etc. lol Though Friend cards come into play with there Text Box Blank. So now if they had Quotes they no long have it anymore cause there zombies and there for dont speak lmao

Oh ic thanx for clarifying it lol. Yeah I was wondering if he removes the text even if the effect works in the discard pile but I got my answer now XD

Yea thats pretty good shuffling your opponents deck and using finkelstein and they wouldnt be able to get anything lol Didnt think of that lol
