So who's going to write a Worlds report?

By Wafflecopter2, in UFS General Discussion

To go along with the "who's going to World's" thread :P

I DEMAND COMMITMENTS

Seems like the last few biggish events have been kinda hush-hush (maybe it's just me) with only one or two reports, a few hints at the decklist (except for dut, because he's so awesome), but certainly not a whole lot of discussion which I feel is probably because people are secreting away their super-secret tech until Worlds (or maybe everyone just stopped posting on the boards because of all the trolls and baw threads, iunno). I like the symbol discussion threads and whatnot, but I'd like tournament reports and decklists even more.

I'll write a report. I usually do.

I didn't do one for the Manitoba Regionals because I haven't had the time for the last few weeks. As it is, I'm shaking my head that in 24 hours I'll be on Vacation from work for Gencon already?!

I'm gonna be taking notes for a wordpress blog of mine :D My first GenCon + Worlds experience

I guess it goes without saying, I will be writing one hell of a report!

You can expect a report from me. I always write one.

More importantly, who is going to give us the live feedback as events occur?

Due to the ICC's stupid rates that they charge for Wireless access, many moons ago I decided that doing live feed from Gencon was cost prohibative to my pocketbook.

What's even more bogus... is that if you pay for 2 hours of access... shut down your laptop, move, and reconnect prior to those two hours expiring, it sucks to be you, you've got to pay again. ::shakes fist at wireless cash grab::

Otherwise, I'd love to do another live feed similar to what I've done for the two most recent Can Nats, and Can Team Nats.

I may see if one of the hotels provides a strong enough wireless signal to piggy back onto this year. (I doubt it... as they tend to gouge in the immediate vicinity too) #$%@.... just called the hotel I'm staying at... $9.95 a day for internet access... booo. However they have ethernet available. Router Ahoy!

I'll definitely try to, myself :D

Screw internet, let's do carrier pidgeon
