Multiple Copy vs Powerful Style

By Cain Valentine, in UFS Rules Q & A

I am reading the advanced rules trying to figure out how much vitality I would gain from a powerful style of a multiple. In the advanced rules its not clear as to if the copy of the card gains the control value of its predecessor just the attack and speed zone. The way I always understood was it gained everything but the text box. Clarification would be nice on this because if it gains no control value then its control value is 0 in powerful styles equation.

If your attack deals damage, gain X vitality. X equals 5 minus your attack's control

5 - 0 = 5, The X becomes 5 vitality.

88.jpg Powerful Style only says attacks control.

Since the multiple is a copy, it has the same difficulty and control as the card that it's copying.

However if a card references the printed control, then that would be 0.

We'll clarify that in the next revision. thanks.

woot i found something to get revised. woot. ... So what kinda of vitality would I gain off powerful style? auto 5?

You would gain 5 minus the attacks control.

The attacks control is considdered the same as the control printed on the attack.

So if the Attack has a 3, you would gain 2 vitality.

The revision is not changing, it's only clarifying and putting in more obvious language, since the language that is there now obviously isn't clear enough based on this thread.

awesome thanks for the clarification.
