Rebel, of course. Juno and Starkiller could go either way, but the only way to incorporate Kota is if it's Rebel. And they're not leaving Kota out.

Jodi? Jade? Jeedai? Jodie... Jodie Foster?
The words your looking for are; jetii, di'kut, or dar'manda. They're all interchangeable in this instance.

Multi-Factional ship.
That would be a heck of an announcement. Baby steps; let's get the Rogue Shadow in the game, then worry about breaking the mold.

I still think they missed a huge opportunity by not letting Scum ships be used by both factions.
Because force unleashed is a crappy video game and an unbelievably badly written piece of schlock that should be forever ignored ? Also, remember when this game was about starfighters and not transports ? :-/
Talked a bit about the rogue shadow here. Seems like they left themselves room for a large ship to decloak with the 1 speed template when small ships decloak with the 2 speed. Darth Maul's ship the Scimitar was another good option for a large ship that decloaks got a small model kit of it that's about x-wing size and I'm converting it to x-wing.
K-Wang
Either a great satirical name, or a magnificent typo.

With all this hubbub over wave 7 spoilers, I feel like there should be at least some minute consideration for the Rogue Shadow. Juno Eclipse being a potential Advanced pilot (depending on how much credibility you lend to the photos circulating) indicates that they've at least combed through TFU for a potential source of new material. Is the obvious staring us in the face, or is it just wishful thinking?
Second one. TFU is overwritten in the new canon. While they scour the source material for pilot names (you see them crop up from the vaguest of places) their process for choosing ships follows (at least) three criteria based on one of the designer interviews:
1: It's one the CEO wants to make.
2: It's one they can make work mechanically and it'll fit into the game.
3: LFL lets them do it.
3 is the main one here. Given the new canon paves over TFU with Rebels, I doubt Lucas Licensing (before anyone says "but its disney" LFL was bought, not dissolved. LFL still exists) would sign off on a TFU ship now. A pilot name is one thing, a whole product is a whole other league.
Plus, the Rogue Shadow was always ferrying you around in TFU, when did you see it fight? Its task was more get in and out unnoticed rather than blast its way in like the Millenium Falcon or Ebon Hawk.
I still think they missed a huge opportunity by not letting Scum ships be used by both factions.
They wasted a huge opportunity by not diluting their faction differences to oblivion and making Han/Boba and Dash/Xizor tag teams? You're aware the entire reason they created S&V is so they didn't have to put Scum ships in Rebel or Empire?

I suppose that's actually a good point. But I'm still horribly buggered and bothered that Emon Azameen, a staunch supporter of The Rebellion, cannot be flown with Rebels.
More pointedly, the shadow was Vader's sneeky secret, or working for the alliance. I got the impression it wasn't mass produced.
When I designed my version I came to the idea that the SHIP should be unique. Not only the pilot. Meaning that you would never be able to put two Rogue Shadows in the game, not even if they were two different pilots.
It looked cool in the cut scenes but it never fired a shot in anger kind of makes it hard to speculate on how it'd fly.
I'm all for the rogue shadow
I've been saying this for awhile now
The decloak for large base ship could be used with the one template
Advanced cloak is phantom only so that poses no problem.
Maybe the rogue shadow is a support ship?
Two attack, two evades 4 shields 3 hull
2 crew slot, two sensor slot, (be first ship that can equip two sensor upgrades) 40 pt range
Cannon slot maybe or maybe that be too powerful. But maybe not
If base cost is 45 equipping a hlc would put it at 52 and that's a generic pilot.
Idk I'm just rambling lol, but i want it in this game
The first tfu game is one of my favorite star wars game

And I've never seen a Lambda shoot, let alone use a hlc.

I like the logic, but IF FFG did produce one, I doubt they've ever market a ship that you only needed to buy 1 of. Even if there were some must have upgrades that warranted 2 copies, I would be quite disappointed that I couldn't even have the option to fly both.

Go play just about any game with a Lambda in it then.
The Lambda's well established and ubiquitous, the Rogue Shadow appears in two games, is a transport in both and I can't recall it shooting in either. Comparing the Shadow to the Lambda is a little silly.

Raider says hi.
I think the rouge shadow could work as a large based ship with cloak. You could have it use the large ship rules for barrel roll so its position change was not so huge, and the large base makes it easier to block, more subject to obstacles, etc. Ias for size, if the decimator isn't too big, then neither is the rouge shadow. The fact that we don't know what it's packing makes it easier for FFG to balance it well. as for it not being well known, I agree, but neither is the phantom, or the IG-2000, or the punishing one, etc.
We are reaching the point in the game where all the well known ships have already been done, and I think some versions of the rouge shadow look pretty sexy. It's an EU ship that actually looks good.
I'm with the troll on this one - bring it!
P.S. maybe it could have a fix built into it that allowed ordnance to actually be viable - though I would not want to steal the assuault gunboat's thunder too much.

Then you seriously need to visit gog and buy tie fighter and x-wing because you haven't lived.
I did play tie fighter, just not recently..... wow that was 20 years ago. I watched some vids and I was totally wrong. I guess all I really remember about shuttles in tie fighter was always "Mission critical craft under attack. Mission critical craft under attack. Mission critical craft under attack. Mission critical craft destroyed"
I have often thought about a way to get the Rogue Shadow into the game, and I think that with the recent cloaking Nerf, it would now be possible. I think it should be unique(only one per list), it should be cross factional (certain pilots for each faction, not pilots either can use) and I think in an interesting twist, I think that if Starkiller is used by the Empire, there should be a rule where, once the oppossing side is gone, he has to kill the remaining Empire ships before they kill him or the Empire loses to represent Vader telling him to leave no witnesses.

Yeah but if you were fool enough to head to head the shuttle won ![]()
Its worth a replay still a solid game.

Kota is gonna be crew at best IMO. And I think the Rogue Shadow would be a Scum and Villainy ship to be fair. It was before the rebellion, and was very much outside everything else.

Thats what Titles are for. Can't have two Millenium Falcons either.
You have now.
TFU 1 was revolutionary. You could destroy so much, and with so much detail. And Sam Witwer really sold that character too. Love that man.
At Celebration VI, I bought my copy of X-Wing right after Sam Witwer. My only claim to having met someone famous outside of an official autograph session.

Because it was a crappy game with a crappy story and perfect evidence on why Disney did the right thing and put Lucasarts out of its misery.
