My nightmare release would be an Imperial Star Destroyer huge ship.

Nah dude the ARC-170 is a gorgeous starship and awesome at what it does.

The Suncrusher is not more powerfull than the deathstar, it has a weapon akin to that red gooe from JJ Trek 1.

The star either goes supernova or collapses in on it's self.

The only place something like that would have in x-wing is an objective.

Death Star blows up planets, takes a day to recharge, is the size of a small moon and has a power consumption to match. Can be completely destroyed by dropping a bomb in a two meter hole that goes to the core.

Death Star

• Is the size of a small moon, with a power consumption to match (half its volume is the reactor)
• Requires millions if not billions of personnel to maintain and operate.
• Is made out of the same materials as the rest of the Empire's technology.
• Blows up planets with a fully charged shot from probably the biggest gun ever built in the Star Wars galaxy, and which takes a significant amount of time to recharge.
• Can be destroyed simply by destabilising that reactor, taking out the whole station in one hit.
• Can be destroyed by anything that'd reasonably destroy a moon-sized battle station.

Sun Crusher

• Is the size of a small starfighter.
• Carries 12 magic torpedoes that blow up entire star systems or anything else they hit.
• Is actually fully indestructible thanks to its armour, but the Empire never thought to put it on anything else. The next few examples are actual in-universe examples of its indestructibility.
• Flew through the bridge of a fully shielded Imperial-I Star Destroyer and came out the other side unscathed leaving a Sun Crusher shaped hole in the ISD. Bear in mind how big an ISD is.
• Can survive the supernova it causes.
• Could not even be rendered inoperable by the entire New Republic's technological knowledge.
• Survived a superlaser hit with minor engine damage. We're talking the Death Star gun that takes out planets.
• They only took it out in the end by tossing it down a black hole.

It is the single best argument in existence for the new canon.

Have you read The Crystal Star? Have you read anything with force ghost brain sex in it? A Hutt controlled "Death Star" that was supposed to look like a lightsaber? C-3P0 singing about Han Solo being royalty? Princess Leia, out of no where, after 4-5 years of boning, straight up says she can't be with Han because he's not royalty and then almost marrying the equivalent of space Fabio? Brother I can go all day.

I kind of like the G-9, it's very star wars like. According to the wiki it was an old, slow and unwieldy freighter even during the Clone Wars. Just imaging the arguing discussions we would have on this forum about it not being a better fighter and how it needs to be buffed before it's even released.

Crystal Star was a little odd, Darksaber at least didn't work and would probably blow itself up if they fired it, Force ghost brai - wait wat.

I know a lot of people really don't like that bomber variant, but it doesn't bother me at all. The extra pods are balanced and firmly attached, there isn't really a structural reason it couldn't work (no more than any other SW ship). I really actually kind of like it.

It's called the TIE interdictor. It existed only as the Advanced TIE bomber in Galactic Battlegrounds (to upgrade some units they just added more parts: the Y-wing gets more engines, the Dwarf Spider Droid gets more guns, the TIE bomber gets more pods) but the TIE interdictor seemed to endure. FFG then brought it back for Stay on Target as the TIE/IT.

Its purpose? Carry more boom. It's designed to be to the TIE bomber what the Advanced x1 (by Raider description) is to the TIE fighter or TIE interceptor: long range. It's got a hyperdrive, and is built to operate where Star Destroyers can't. Good for hitting Rebel bases hard and fast.

No question the N-1 is tainted, but why is it on a list of ugly ships? I thought the whole problem people had with it (other than the movie it appeared in) was that it wasn't ugly enough.

I passionately hate the vong and the sci-fi trope for biological space ships in general,

"oh no they are super advanced because they have biologically based ships what ever will we do?" .... shoot the buggers, shoot them in their space face a lot and watch them die, watch inefficient circulatory systems bleed out, watch leather or chittin or bark or whatever fail to stop your energy weapons, watch that vaunted self repair system not have time to do anything useful as you turn the ship into your next BBQ lunch,

No Prequels No Uglies .. Anything around Battle of Yavin that has semi canon / legend history is more for me. Not just random 1 reference crap because someone thought it was cool at the time.

It's clearly a YT-1300 (or actually a pair of them), but it's a small detail in a large image. Hard to say whether or not it's the Falcon.

Then, assuming you're not just talk throwing such statements around with no intention of backing them up, you better be selling, because the Falcon is in Episode 3, and the Firespray-31 has more prequel screen time than OT screen time.

Oh, and Armada has the Havoc in it, a ship from an Episode I tie in game called Starfighter about flying N-1s.
