Serissu and The Scummy Scum Crew, Need Advice

I created a list that has, so far, not been defeated. I have since modified the list in hopes to make it better.

M3-A Interceptor Serissu (20)

Heavy Scyk (2)

Mangler Cannon (4)

Engine Upgrade (4)

Y-Wing Syndicate Thug (18) x2

Ion Cannon Turret (5)

Btl-A4 (0)

Z-95 Headhunter Binayre Pirate (12) x2

The changes I have made from my original list:

Remove Flechette Cannon and Decoy from Serissu.

Removed Seismic charge and bomb load out from the Y-wings.

Added Engine Upgrade and Mangler Cannon on Serissu.

I plan to take this list to a tournament and would like some input on it. My initial worry with the change is putting too much emphasis on a weak ship while taking away a control element.

I actually like the sound of flechette on Serissu better because you don't want her too scary, or she'll attract fire and die early. However, I don't understand why you are using Serissu to protect y-wings? They only have 1 green die, so her ability doesn't help them much, and frankly, they are tough enough not to really need it.

I guess the headhunters are there just for blocking? I've never found them to be particularly good at that (despite PS1) because they can't barrel roll, so its not hard for an opponent to avoid the block. They might be more useful with Feedback Arrays...

Don't have much more to offer, as I haven't got much experience with Scum

I think her ability attracted me to her originally. That and PS 8 as I had decoy on her first. And I was thinking the same thing about the flechette. I could use the extra 2 points for unhinged astromechs or initiative bid. The z's are just filler, firing arcs or blockers.

The list as a whole was just list building fun, but did well enough I thought I'd take it serious.

I like the combo of her being paired with Xisor with body guard. Stick jammer on Xisor and stealth on Serisu and they are quite hard to hit, and drag a damage soaking ship like a Ywing to pass Xisor's damage to.

Yeah, except illegal. Tactical Jammer can only go on large-based ships. And using bodyguard to lose Xizor's action...not sure he'll hit very hard doing that often

Sensor Jammer, not tactical jammer. In retrospect though, advanced sensors might be better to make sure you get your action.

Still sounds like an interesting list. Worth a try to see how it goes. Still haven't flown my (daughter's) viper yet.

This is my idea for your list:

Syndacate Thug + Unhinged Astro. + BTL-A4 + Ion turret x2 ( 24 pts each )

Binayre pirate x2 ( 12 pts each )

Laethin A'Shera + title + mango cannon + stealth device ( 27 pts )

Serissu helps a lot in lists with ships that defending with 2 or 3 dice. Reroll for a Y-wing is redundant, and you would use the ability only for the Z95 that are not important ships for the list. Laethin instead, becomes very difficult piece to hit
