What happens with CoWG+ Air Soldier? These are pretty much directly contradictory, and I can't think of a solution. Next up is CoWG+Cerberus. I would assume that, even if you've got a Sora+Attack card that can best the CoWG, you still must assign 3 friends, because you battle ALL dark cards at the same time. Is this correct?
Cave of Rules Headaches Guardian questions
No idea about the airpirate.
For cerberus it never mentions that you have to kill it first only that 3 or more friends must be in battle to kill it. So what i get from it is that you have to kill the Cave one turn then kill Cerberus the next turn.

CoWG + Air Pirate = Potential World Lockdown
Thank you for bringing this to my attention *Evil grin* Until FFG release a mega-nerfing rule to counter-act this, it looks like a World lock to me =]
As for CoWG + Cerberus, monkeyboi is right, destroy CoWG first then destroy Cerberus.
I know the order, I meant that they have to assign 3 friends even if damage can't go to cerberus

Yes, Cerbus reads that at least 3 must participate, not that at least 3 must be used to Battle Cerberus, so until Cerberus is gone, 3 Friends must participate in every Battle.
I take it that this os going to come down to a battle of text on the cards and rulings from the higher up.
I think this will come down to a ruling on one of the cards. I always took air sloldier as a assign damage to him first, then assign else where to other dark cards. While the gaurdian pulls all the damage anyways. Sigh, now I am getting a headache over this.

If you played YGO think the Maurding Captain or Command Knight lockdown. This is pretty much the same thing, one says you have to damage kill if first and the other attracts damage to itself first. Basically it unables you from attacking.

For a metaphorical standpoint, both cards are drawing the singular attack at the same time with an equal amount of power. Since the attack can only target one of these cards it misses completely and dissipates.

Please Roxas, don't remind me of Yugioh. I may still play it on my DS, but please no reminder. At least with Yugioh, and I am sure you can agree, that at least by that time, there was a large enough card pool with cards that could destroy things easily.
At that time, I believe both Rageki and Dark Hole were still usuable. We could Tribute to the Doom, Man Eater Bug, and other cards that were easily usable to destroy the card. LOD was Set 6, so we had a s*** load of things we could use to blow s*** up. And at least yugioh by that time still, you could exodia them, I think destiny board was around, or even the basics to deck destruction was around then.
KH has not been so kind yet. All this talking on rulings is gonna cause me to drink.
Actually Air Soldier and CoWG makes it seem like a lockdown but you could read it differently too cause CoWG says you assign all battle damage to it, while Air Solder says you must defeat this dark card before any other. And each of the rulings and effect for those two only state that when there is a second copy of a card you get to choose which one to attack instead of blocking the attack. But technically with Air Soldier you have to defeat the Air Soldier first before any others but when you attack air soldier all damage gets transfered to CoWG, but since Air Soldier must be defeated first before any others the CoWG doesn't die as if it had an invincible shield. Like the Maurading Captain thing but more so the two help each other like a Parasite on an Organism. And to me the only way liable to kill them would be to do magic outside of battle.
There's no precedent for any kind of "invisible shield" this needs a ruling, and will be really weird for the game if it locks the world. It would force running magic/herc/beast/minnie or escaping

Lockdowns are a good thing.
THEY MAKE STRATEGY GROW.
but its not invinicible cause you could use magic to kill the air soldier outside of battle or the cave outside of battle where there effects wont activate. Plus its strategy but Minnie Mouse is awesome I made a deck idea with her lmao
Yeah, lockdowns are awesome until you get Phil out, and then it really is "escape" or, well, luck into a Beast/Herc to take care of thea air soldier.
Or supah minnie powah! lol

Minni with a fairy godmother to pull a bambi that you can play then draw into your next world card.
only if your wisdom sora to have the magic powah, oops power not epic time lol, to play it or unless you mean having other friends out.. Which thanks that adds more to that super minnie deck im making. I kinda forgot about fairy godmother lol But its still cool either way lol, i need more CoWG lol
Catninja also said about the new Kairi and Slephie for even more draw power. I don't think WR are dead any more. Gets past a lot of there locks too.
NOOO HE's GIVING AWAY MY STRATEGY! LMAO Yea Kairi and Selphie would be even better lol. They are brokenly awesome!
You are all forgeting t3h p0w4 and t3h 1337 that are Techniques. Go in to battle. Red Rocket/Bushido/Shooting Star the CoWG. Kill the Air Soldier with relatively minimal difficulty. Play world card. ???? PROFIT!
You're also forgetting that we already HAVE a fair amount of WR Lockdowns already present in the game: Stealth Sneak. Gargoyle + Phil. (OR Gargoyle+ Wizard + Captain Hook which is especially nice for Dark Decks since you could put Hook and Wizard in the Friend Zone and never use them in a challenge or battle ever.) AND you're forgetting that we already have ways around them: Dumbo, Peter Pan, Magic, Techniques, maybe some other stuff I'm forgetting.

AndI have to admit I wouldn't know that your sig was from "Catcher in the Rye" if I hadn't seen GitS:SAC.
never underestimate the power of an escape, especially when CoWG lets you keep your friends afterwards. trick em into dropping their good heartless like this guy and then just discard the world no big deal. I threw together a forty card exact Roxas racer yesterday and my friend dropped a cage a behemoth and the CoWG on my travers town lvl3. I simply escaped kept all my friends and went down to a disney castle that was underneath the traverse town.

And you just gave him a free turn too. I don't know about your friend, but the CowG says "play me and a dark card to stall the opponent for a turn, they may lose an HP too, depending"
