As you all know the UK Nationals are coming soon, and with the Meta the way that it is I was just curious what characters people are expecting to see..

There are a few characters I think will be seen at Nationals

Zangief = real good stats and ability to tank everything thrown at him and inflict massive damage..

Donovan = ability to both draw and clear card pool what else could you ask for..

Akuma = one of the heavy control characters around, with those stats he could go far..

Hilde = probably one of the fastest characters in the current game, with the ability to perform a one hit kill to nearly all characters..

Zi Mei = similar to akuma heavy control and damage pump. Would'nt be suprised if she won the event..

King = Even though Tekken is yet to be released there is ALOT of hype regarding king, and with that F to play any 5 diff or less throw for free, probably the most aggresive 6 hand character in the game..

Alex = with 2 available options of character choice (promo or booster) he can good control and damage..

Nagase = my personal faviroute. Although there may not be alot of her there she may suprise people with her damage reduction and control level..

I may have forgotten some others please feel free the mention anyone I have forgotten and gives reasons why you think they will be there at UK Nationals..

The Pigeon crew will be there in near full force ( Team fruit ******). We should have 7 players of which myself included.

look out for:

Felicia- Feline spike

Fire agrro- mainly on face charcters that board into akuma or Zi mei.

Gen- 7/24 with the three best symbols in the game. Anti aggro AND foundation fishing? Yes please.

Someone'll run Victor I think, we'll probably see a fair few characters ran off Good, somebody might bite the chunky bullet and run Hugo, and the lucky few who have Tekken characters will probably run them.

I myself might run Christie simply because I don't know what she does yet but I'm cautiously optimistic that she'll be fun to play. Then again I might tweak my Padma deck from PotM and run that, who knows?

I'll definitely be there, along with most of patriot games regular crew. a few decks i expect to see floating about:

fio: with all the anti discard about, she is the best option for hand stripping combined with momentum generation for a solid all rounder.

leona: fragile but fast as hell, built her recently as an earth/fire aggro deck which can consistently reach 30 damage by turn 2, utterly brutal.

kazuya: infiltrating on a character with a built in speed/damage pump and 3 solid symbols? oh hell yes.

raphael: another great ohk character,and one that doesnt need as many tricks in play as hilde to go off.

blanka: on death he gets menuett dance, power of the edge (hopefully) and dans taunt and the mometum to thoroughly abuse them all.

there will be more that i've missed but these are definitely options. i already know what i'll be playing

but i will recon there will be lots of the tekken characters there as they have rediculas abilities

I will be there with my long sleve shirts and my hoodie. Also I do not own a gay cowboy beltbuckle that looks like a power ranger morph thingy, so I won't be wearing one.

Since I'm posting anyway, I'll mention Sagat and Felicia. They're not amazing as characters but a lot of people aren't going to want to let go of the Tiger Furys and Feline Spikes they went to trouble getting playsets of.

Yeh I'm thinking there are going to be lots of tekken there, king mostly, and of course Zi Mei, Akuma, maybe Herr if anyone got hold of him, JJ maybe, some forms of good aggro, Something with order Probably Nagase or Gill

So yeah, I'll be represting the Canucks *flex*

Well I'm going to be there. Currently I'm thinking Fio. Or possibly Hanzo. Or Nagase. Or maybe Vega.

Whatever. I'll come up with a deck before I get there, I promise.
