Ever since hearing of this game, I've always liked the sound of it, but have never had the chance to look at it, because it has yet to come out over in the UK. My playgroup is a pretty large one playing UFS mainly, but a lot of us have looked at Kingdom Hearts and only wished that it could come out over here. I ask if there is a reason for such delays getting it over here. I'm sure that there is, I would just like to know what it is
Is Licensing for this game a problem for the UK?
As of right now, from what I understand, FFG is only allowed to sell the game to the US Canada and Mexico and does not yet have the rights to sell it elsewhere, though I don't think that limits places outside of FFG to sell it to you. Two of our moderators (from the the old forums and soon to be these forums) live in the UK. They could provide you with more info than I could
Yo, one of those two moderators that RoxaL mentions would be me
I'm currently UK based, and I still play the TCG.
From what I know; FFG hasn't got a license to sell the KH TCG in the UK from the company they acquired it from (Tomy). Since acquiring Black Industries, FFG have had a rather stable connection with the UK but still no word on a UK release.
As for cards, I order from sites other than FFG and put up with the extortinate shipping and I play online against people from these boards (Have to proxy a lot though, as I tend to bulk order so it can be months between my acquiring of cards)
Where do you order your cards from? I'm pretty interested as to how the game works and will probably scrawl these threads for rules etc and might try proxying a deck just to learn the rules. Then I'll order me some happy
. I'll have to see if I can get some people interested round here and I might have a go
Whats a good way to start? Starter decks, boosters etc?
Starter set is a good start, gives you a couple of base starter cards and a handy rulebook.
I should be doing a mass order at some point in the near future (Just sorting out the fiscal issues first), and if you want to join me in ordering a load of cards (Cuts down on shipping cost, y'know?) then you're more than welcome to.
Best thing to do would be to email/MSN conversation type thing....(Yeah, I can type...)
