can anyone provide me with a schedule of the UFS events at gencon

Please google search Gencon. Then select INDY gencon or some sorts. navigate the website and down load the master schedual of events. Down load open office or already have some datasheet reader and viola. All events at Gencon are yours!

(ps on a really slow connection right now myself, and won't be doing any of that to just do the above for you and posting the results...)

Note that AM/PM wasn't actually listed, so I suspect all of the end times are PM, and that the Legacy may start at 2PM not 2AM.

180 max players for Day 1?

What happens if there are 300 ppl who want to play in singles? Not gonna happen but you're in a conundrum if it does...

You can buy your event tickets prior and secure yourself a spot.

However if anyone chooses not to go to gencon because "I might not get in." - you're lame and this is exactly what people cried for last year, so people are getting exactly what they asked for. First come first serve.

If you get to Gencon, and you're told the event is sold out - buy Generic tickets equal to the value of UFS worlds. As someone who has been to Gencon for many many many years... I'm sure they'll find room to squeeze people in.

Because that table sucks... From the SotG (i.e. Steve's mouth so it must be right) below.

Biggest thing is Legacy is same day as Teams (starts 5 hours after, signup starts 3 hours after start of teams).

Summary - Teams and Legacy Thursday August 13th, Singles Friday and Saturday August 14/15th, Wandering Master (all weekend starting Thursday and probably ending Saturday/Sunday), Random sealed on Sunday (probably Saturday too granted there may be enough to play that didn't make first cut end of Friday).

Personally, I am arriving Wednesday night. Anyone who doesn't arrive before 11am on Thursday can't do teams, before 4pm can't do Legacy. In other words, I hope to see a lot of UFS'ers arriving Thursday morning or Wednesday night.

"Thursday August 13th:

Wandering Master

Sign up: 10 AM

This event runs until noon on Sunday. You register a 5 point watermark only deck that you play challenge matches with during the convention, whoever wins the most matches wins. I will provide full details in the next couple of weeks as well as during sign up.

Team Worlds

Sign up: 10 AM

Start: 11AM

After you get signed up for the Wandering Master event come over and show the world who has the best team in UFS!

Legacy World Championships

Sign up: 2 PM

Start: 4 PM

First turn kills, degenerate combos, and endless loops, who has what it takes to win it all? A bit of a later start time to give people who dropped from teams a chance to play.

Friday August 14th

Singles World Championship Day 1

Sign up: 12 Noon

Start: 1 PM

This is THE EVENT, where we crown a new world champion who gets the greatest prize in gaming. Number of rounds depends on on how players sign up. the number of players signed up will also determine how many we cut to to go on to day 2.

Saturday August 15th

World Championships Day 2

Starts: 11 AM

For those who survived day 1. We will pick up where we left off from day 1. If possible we will play out to crown the new champion, if it runs too late we will finish on Sunday.

There will also be side events on Saturday to play in, these will be posted closer to Gen Con.

Sunday August 16th

Worlds Day 3 (if needed)

A possible sealed side event if we have any TEKKEN by then. If so we may run this on Saturday depending on how long the main event goes on."
