difficult vs printed difficult

By Darkon01, in UFS Rules Q & A

hi:

My opponent play with Maxi, and play an attack "X", he give -3 to difficult, and activate E´s maxi:" your air and good attack with difficulty 6 or more get +4 damage", but the dificult´s attack is 3.

my question is the attack still get +4 damage? or only count the printed difficult?

thanks for yours answer...

Since Maxi's E does not say "...printed difficulty 6 or more..." and your opponent gave -3 difficulty to the attack, (bringing it below 6) he may not play the enhance unless he somehow returns the attack to it's printed difficulty.

Was Maxi not ruled ages ago to ignore progressive difficulty as well when it comes to that enhance? I wasnt best pleased at the time since there were about 3 (not very good attacks) with air, good and a difficulty of 6 or more. It was because progressive difficulty is only used when making a check, not when his enhance is played. So in this case if he gives the attack -3 difficulty, should that not only apply for the check as well?

I would need to see the exact text card granting the discount.

If the effect states "your next attack is -3 difficulty". That effect lasts as long as that attack lives in the card pool.

Keeping in mind cards like sentient appliance affect cards difficulty even when they're in the staging area.

the card is nothing to lose

I love that card lol.

Then while that card is in play, it's difficulty is -x
