The question is: How is the support order resolved?

Is it removed when you support someone once, or at the end of the turn, no matter the number of times you supported?

The support order gets removed at the end of the round (assuming it was not removed for any reason during the turn) .... and it can be used to support any number of adjacent battles during the round.
